직접교수법을 통한 인체 동세 표현지도에 관한 연구

A Study for the Teaching of Figure Motion Expression by Direct Instruction

다양한 멀티미디어 기기가 미술수업에서 널리 활용되고 있는 요즘, 표현 수업에서는 잘 준비되고 구조화된 교사의 시범을 아동들이 보아야 할 때가 있다. 특히 사실적으로 그리기 원하는 아동들의 인체 동세 표현 수업에서 아동들 스스로 인체 움직임을 파악하여 표현하도록 내버려 두는 것보다 교사의 시범이나 준비된 자료를 통해 인체의 형태와 비례를 파악하고 몸의 각 부분들이 어떻게 연결되어 움직이는지 알게 할 필요가 있다. 이 때 공간 내의 인체 움직임을 관찰하여 표현하도록 도와 줄 수 있는 직접교수법을 적용할 수 있다. 직접교수법이란 교사의 시범과 구조화된 연습으로 아동들이 반드시 알아야 할 지식, 기술, 방법, 과정 등에 대한 이해를 돕고 궁극적으로 아동들의 독립적인 연습을 통해 창의적이고 다양한 표현으로 발전할 수 있도록 도움을 주는 교수 방법을 말한다. 본 연구에서는 아동들에게 직접교수법을 적용하여 그들이 알아야 할 기초적인 지식과 표현 방법 및 수업 과정을 단계별로 나누어 효과적인 학습이 되도록 제시하고, 아동들의 그림 분석을 통해 수업 단계 중 독립적인 표현에서 창의적이고 개성적이며 다양한 표현으로 발전 될 수 있는 가능성을 확인해 보고자 한다.

Even though there are lots of multimedia materials around the classrooms, in art classes of elementary schools there are necessary moments for students to need good examples that are prepared by teachers and can guide the students well. Especially in a drawing class of figure motions that requires a realistic expression, teacher s direct instruction is more effective than students own understanding, for it gives information of a physical form, proportion, relationship among portions like arms, legs, a head and a body and arrangement in a way of showing examples. Direct instruction gives students essential knowledge, skills, methods, and understandings of procedures through examples and guided practices. This finally makes it possible for students, by independent practice, to accomplish creative and various expressions in their art work. This study discusses how to make students to practice basic skills, methods and procedures in small steps sufficiently. Then it shows the possibility of that students can make creative and various expression in their individual work by analyzing students drawings.
