의식적 관찰이 미술표현력 신장에 미치는 효과

The Effect of Conscious observation to Extend Expression in Art Education

본 연구는 의식적 관찰 활동이 미술 표현력 신장에 미치는 교육적인 역할과 효과에 대해 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 학교현장에서는 아동의 정신발달에 비해 사물에 대한 표현력이 단순하고 정형화된 표현에서 벗어나지 못하는 경향을 보인다고 지적한다. 이는 초등아동 뿐만 아니라, 교대의 예비교사들이나 일반인들에게도 마찬가지인 문제일 것이다. 본 연구에서는 그러한 문제의 근본적인 원인이 기억 속에 대상물의 특성에 대한 선명한 정도의 이미지를 떠올리지 못하는 지식(이미지) 축적의 부족을 그 하나로 보았다. 그리고 기억에 대상물의 특성을 상기할 수 있는 지식을 축적하기 위한 방법으로 그 대상물에 대한 특징을 찾아내고 인식할 수 있는 의식적 관찰 활동에 주목하였다. 그리고 우리의 뇌 속에 사물에 대한 지식 축적을 위해서는 사물의 내적 속성을 감지하는 정서적 활동과 외형적 특징인 조형 요소를 찾고 인식하는 지각 활동에 의해 성립된다는 이론에 근거하여 의식적 관찰 활동 프로그램을 개발하여 실시하였다. 그 결과, 사람들이 의식적 관찰을 통해 기억 속에 대상물의 특성에 대한 지식 축적을 이룰 수 있었고, 그것은 곧 대상물의 이미지를 나타내는 표현력으로 나타났다. 본 연구가 초등학생들에게도 의식적 관찰 활동을 통해 대상물에 대한 풍부하고 선명한 이미지를 기억 속에 축적시키며, 표현력 신장을 이끌어내는 하나의 방법이 될 것이라고 본다.

It is pointed out that in a school field, children have a tendency of simple expression and can not be out of standardization. Not only that but also they dislike to think something and there are not few case of saying not to know how to draw. Where is the fundamental cause of this indication? In this study, it is considered that because of the lack of the memorized knowledge of clear image and distinctions of the objects. In order to store up the memory of the distinctions of the object, we watched the conscious observing activities which find the new source and perceive them. The conscious observing of the objects, in this study, means a function for perceiving information. It is needed for our brain to store up the knowledge emotional activities which feel the inner character of the objects and the intellectual activity which perceive the outer distinction of a formal shape. According to this structure formation, I developed a program and practiced it to pre-teacher and the field teachers and spread out the activities which the brain recognize the distinctions of the objects. Then, about a week later, in the classroom, had each one draw recalling from the know ledges and the images putting them as the theme of their drawing. This study clarified the fact by analyzing reciprocally the conscious observation and the activities of the drawing theme expression that people store up the knowledge of the distinctions of the objects through the conscious observation and then that accumulated know ledges are revealed as an extensions of the power of the expressions. Through this study, from mow on, it is expected that in the elementary school field the children will store up the abundant and clear images in their memories and the educational effect of having extension of the power of the expressions
