일본의 교원양성을 위한 미술과 교육과정에 관한 연구

A Study on the Art Education Curriculum of Teacher Training Institutions in Japan

본고는 한국의 미술교육에 지대한 영향을 미쳐 온 일본의 교원양성대학 제도의 역사적 변천과 미술과 교육과정에 대한 고찰을 통해, 일본 교원양성대학의 현재를 사적으로 정리함으로서 금후 우리나라 교원양성대학의 미술과 교육과정의 발전을 위한 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 연구방법은 주로 문헌연구에 기초하여 일본 교원양성제도의 역사적 변천과정 및 일부 교원양성대학의 미술과 교육과정에 관한 문헌자료를 중심으로 고찰, 분석하였다. 특히 일본 교원양성제도와 관련하여 일본 교육직원면허법 및 규칙 등을 살펴보고 시대의 변화와 맞물려 현재 일본 교원양성대학의 미술과 교육과정에서 강조하고 있는 내용은 무엇인지 등을 밝혔다. 그 결과, 지금까지 연구가 미비했던 일본 교원양성대학과 관련하여 1) 역사적 관점에서 과거의 변천 과정을 살펴보고, 2) 일본 교원양성대학의 미술과 교육과정에 대한 구체적 고찰을 통해, 3) 제도와 제도에 영향을 환경 간의 관계 맥락에서 살펴보는 생태학적 시각에서 현재를 살펴보는 일이 중요하다는 것을 시사하였다.

The purposes of this study were to explore the historical trends of teacher training system of Japan and to inquire an art education curriculum of teacher s college in Japan since 1910. Based on the past of teacher s colleges in Japan in a historical perspective, and the present of the institutions in an ecological perspective, this study tried to articulate the implementations for the development of art education curriculum of teacher s colleges in Korea. This study utilized the literature review research methodology to collect the data mainly focusing on the development process of teacher s college system in a historical perspective. The researchers also collected the related document data on art education curriculum from some of teacher s colleges in Japan. These included the law of the teacher licence and clauses of the licence law. The methods of data analysis implemented in this study was content analysis. Based on the analysis of the data, the study clarified the special emphasis of art education curriculum of teacher s college in Japan in a contextual perspective. The main body of the study was composed of the following three parts: 1. the history and change of teacher training system in Japan 2. the content and emphasis of art education curriculum 3. the suggestions and implementations for the development of art education curriculum in Korea As a conclusion, it is suggested that for the implementation of new curriculum of art education in a teacher training institution, it is a sine qua none to investigate the past in a historical perspective, and the present in an ecological perspective. In this sense, Japanese case should be one of the references.
