There s always a difference between individuals with suitable the stages of growth and development, they are draw with characteristic of their artistic expression are categorized as follows. There are come up to the object of art education through study of correlation between the school achievement and characteristic of the second graders art work at the Elementary school and requirement of this thesis. This study is case study of thirty seven students in the second grade at elementary school. The purpose of this study is to investigate the correlation between the characteristics of the art works the other subjects achievement at the elementary school. The characteristic of their artistic expression are categorized as follows: 1. simplicity, 2. folding over, 3 perpendicular error 4. territorial imperative, 5. fill-the format principle, 6. plastic principle, 7. animism, 8. transparency realism, 9. mixed view. The other subjects achievement are categorized as follows: 1. Korean language, 2. Mathematics, 3. Disciplined life, 4. Intelligent life, and 5. Pleasant life. The conclusions of this study are followings: At first, the students who represented much more characteristic in their artistic expression accomplished low results in Korean language and Intelligent life. Second, the correlation between achievement of Mathematics, Disciplined life, Pleasant life and characteristic in their artistic expression was not related.
