어린이집교사의 공감능력이 영유아와의 상호작용에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Child Care Teachers Empathy on the Interaction with Infants

본 연구는 어린이집교사의 공감능력과 영유아와의 상호작용은 어떠하며, 어린이집 교사의 공감능력이 영유아와의 상호작용에 미치는 영향력은 어떠한지를 알아보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 연구대상은 서울, 경기 지역의 어린이집에 근무하고 있는 교사 367명이다. 연구결과는 첫째, 어린이집교사들의 공감능력은 평균이상으로 양호한 수준으로 나타났으며, 하위요인 중 인지적공감이 정서적공감에 비해 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 어린이집교사의 공감능력과 교사-영유아 상호작용 간에는 유의한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 어린이집교사의 공감능력은 교사-영유아 상호작용에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구는 어린이집교사의 공감능력에 대한 중요성을 시사하고, 보육의 질적 향상을 위해 교사-영유아의 상호작용을 이해하는 기초자료가 될 것이라 기대한다

The purpose of this study is to investigate the interaction between the empathy ability of the childcare teachers and the infant and the infant, and how the empathy ability of the childcare teachers affects the interaction with the infant. The subjects of this study were 367 teachers working at child care center in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. The main results of this study are as follows: First, as a result of descriptive statistics to investigate the general tendency of childcare teachers empathy ability and teacher-infant interaction, the empathy ability of childcare teachers was above average, and cognitive empathy among the sub-factors was relatively higher than emotional empathy. Second, there was a significant correlation between the empathy ability of the childcare teachers and the teacher-infant interaction. Third, the effect of the childcare teachers on empathy ability and teacher-infant interaction was examined and it was found to have a significant effect. Therefore, this study provides data on how the empathy ability of the childcare teachers will affect the teacher-infant interaction, and also reveals factors that will increase the teacher-infant interaction of the childcare teachers. Therefore, this study has significance in contributing to the improvement of the quality of early childhood education by suggesting that it is necessary to develop teacher education and related programs that can improve the empathy ability of childcare teachers in the future.
