박물관 이용자연구를 위한 방법론 탐색

A Study on the Possibility of Museum Education and Qualitative Inquiry

본 연구는 박물관교육의 다양한 질적연구 과정의 가능성을 탐색하였다. 본 연구에서 박물관 질적연구의 개별 연구자는 특정 연구시점에서 박물관 환경을 바탕으로 자신이 관심 있는 사회적 관점에 따라 문제를 설정하고 다양한 패러다임으로 연구문제를 풀어나간다는 시각에서 연구를 시작하고자 한다. 왜냐하면 박물관은 이용자와 상시순환체계를 이루며 진화하는 물리적 기관이자 물리적 공간을 넘어서는 기관이므로, 연구자의 시점에서 박물관 이용자를 위해 사회적이고 문화적인 박물관 자료를 공유하는 과정을 해석하기 때문이다. 박물관 및 박물관교육 관련 질적연구 연구문제 기술 과정에서 서론, 이론적 배경, 연구방법, 결론 및 부록의 구성은 중요한 틀이다. 틀을 바탕으로 연구자는 개별적 환경의 특수성에 따라 질적연구의 과정을 적합하게 제시하고 기술해야 한다. 박물관 및 박물관교육 연구의 주제를 분명하게 하면 연구방법을 구체화할 수 있으며 연구주제는 연구과정에서 끊임없이 되살펴야 하고 연구문제가 확장되어 다양한 연구방법을 개발하며 박물관 환경을 깊이 보고 탐구하는 계기가 된다. 연구자는 연구결과를 통해 박물관 환경에서 연구참여자에 대한 이해, 연구참여자의 박물관세계와 생활세계에 대한 분석이 가능하다. 나아가 박물관 및 박물관교육 평가, 새로운 이론화, 실행연구 및 문화에 대한 박물관 관련 담론의 생산, 박물관 현장 적용 및 이론화에까지 연결된다. 박물관환경의 발전을 도모하기 위해 더 많은 질적연구 문제를 구성하는 방법을 탐구하고자 한다.

Museum is a physical institution that evolves into a regular circulation system with users and an institution beyond physical space. From the perspective of museum, user research is also a process of confirming the contents of the users absorption of the changing social and cultural environment, and it is also the process of sharing social and cultural museum materials for users. This study explored the possibility of various qualitative research processes of museum education. The researcher sets up problems according to the social perspectives that he or she is interested in based on the museum environment at a specific point of time and solves the research problems with various paradigms. In the process of research problem, introduction, theoretical background, research method, conclusion and appendix are important frameworks of qualitative research related to museum. Therefore, in the study of museum and museum education, the process of qualitative research should be presented and described according to the specificity of the environment. Since the museum site is an evolving virtual space, it is possible to describe the research questions more systematically according to the problem. If the theme of museum and museum education is clearly clarified, the research method can be embodied. Meanwhile, the research theme should be constantly revived in the research process. This will expand the research questions to develop various research methods and provide an opportunity to deeply explore and explore the museum environment. Through the results of the study, it is possible to understand the participants in museum education and analyze the museum world and the life world of the participants. Furthermore, it is connected to the evaluation of museum and museum education, the new theorization, the production of museum-related discourses on action research and culture, and the application and theorization of museum field. In this regard, I will explore the research theme by looking back on the way to construct more qualitative research problems to promote the development of museum environment.
