재난관리와 경찰공무원 성과의 상관관계 연구

A Study on the Correlation between Disaster Management and Performance of Police

본 연구에서는 경찰의 재난관리체계의 활성화를 위해서는 재난예방, 재난대비, 재난대응, 재난복구가 재난관리체계의 성과에 중요한 변수라는 것을 기존 선행연구를 통하여 설정하였으며 경찰공무원을 대상으로 실증연구를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 실증분석 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 재난예방활동이 재난관리체계의 성과와 상관관계가 있을 것이라는 가설 1은 채택되었다. 둘째, 재난대비활동은 재난관리체계의 성과와 상관관계가 있을 것이라는 가설2는 부분적으로 채택되었다. 재난관리체계의 성과변수 중 신속대응과 재난대비활동의 가용장비는 상관관계가 거의 없는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 재난대응활동은 재난관리체계 의 성과와 상관관계가 있을 것이라는 가설 3도 부분 채택되었다. 재난대응활동 변수 중유관기관과의 협조와 재난대응활동 중 신속대응과의 상관관계도 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 재난복구활동과 재난관리체계의 성과와는 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타나 가설 4는 채택되었다. 마지막으로 연구의 한계 및 미래연구 방향에 관하여 제안하였다.

The purpose of this paper is to find out the performance of police on the disaster prevention, disaster preparedness, disaster response, and disaster recovery This study had a correlation analysis about the relationships of the dependent variable and independent variables. Hypothesis of this paper are as follows. First, Hypothesis 1 was adopted that disaster prevention activities will be correlated with the performance of the disaster management system. Second, Hypothesis 2 of the disaster preparedness activities and the performance of disaster management system was partially adopted. Among the performance variables of the disaster management system, there was almost no correlation between the rapid response and the available equipment of the disaster preparedness activities. Third, Hypothesis 3 was partially adopted that disaster response activities will be correlated with the performance of the disaster management system. The correlation between disaster response variables and cooperation with related organizations and disaster response activities had low correlation. Fourth, Hypothesis 4 was adopted. It showed a correlation with disaster recovery activities and the performance of disaster management system. In conclusion, implications of this results are discussed. The limitation of this study and future research fields are proposed.
