본 연구는 대학생의 진로·취업 관련 교과목 및 서비스 경험이 진로개발역량 향상에 미치는 영향을 확인하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 대학 진로취업지원 현황조사(2019)의 학생조사 데이터를 분석하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로지도 및 상담 교과목의 참여 여부와 취업지도 및 지원 교과목 참여 여부는 진로개발역량에 유의미한 영향을 주지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 다만 교과목의 목적이나 특성에 따라 영향을 미치는 세부 역량이 다르게 나타났다. 둘째, 진로·취업 서비스의 경우, 학과(전공)교수와의 진로·취업 상담, 취업준비 프로그램, 현장실습 및 인턴, 진로취업 설명회, 박람회, 잡(Job)페스티벌에 참여하는 것은 진로개발역량 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 진로·취업 서비스경험 여부가 성찰역량, 관계역량, 행동역량 및 구직역량에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 교과목과 서비스의 주요 목적에 따라 영향을 미치는 역량이 다르게 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 진로·취업 관련 교과목 및 서비스와 대학생의 진로개발역량에 관련해 이론적·실천적 방안을 제시했다.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of career and job-related subject and service program experience on career development competency of college students. To achieve this goal, we analyzed students’ survey data of A Research Survey on Career & Employment Support of Korean Universities(2019). The main results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that the participation of career guidance & counseling subjects has no significant impact on overall career development competency. However, they affect the detailed competency depending on the purpose or characteristics of the subject. Second, in the case of career and job-related services, participation in career and job counseling with professors in each major, mentoring with current workers, job preparation programs, field practice and internships, and career job briefing session, fair, and job festivals has a positive impact on the improving career development competency. Third, as a result of analyzing the effects of career and job-related subject, and service program experience on reflection, relationship, behavioral, and job search competency, subjects and service programs influenced different competencies according to their main purpose. Based on these findings, we suggested practices and follow-up studies related to career and job-related subject and service program and career development competency of college students.
