The Causal Relationship between Sense of School Belonging, Parent Support, Self-Efficacy, Outcome Expectation and Grit of Specialized Vocational High School Students

이 연구의 목적은 특성화고등학교 학생의 학교소속감, 부모지지, 자기효능감, 결과기대 및 그릿의 인과적 관계를 구명하는 데 있었다. 모집단은 현재 특성화고등학교에 재학 중인 학생으로, 표본은 학교의 소재지(특별시·광역시, 도) 및 계열(공업, 상업, 기타)에 따라 비례층화표집으로 18개교로부터 468명의 학생을 선정하였다. 자료수집은 총 468부를 배포하여 450부가 회수되었으며, 불성실 응답과 무응답을 제외하고 최종적으로 18개교의 427명의 자료를 활용하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 23.0과 Amos 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기초통계와 구조방정식 모형 분석을 실시하였고, 추리통계 결과에 대한 통계적 유의수준은 .05로 설정하였다. 주요 결론으로는 첫째, 특성화고등학교 학생의 그릿에 학교소속감과 부모지지 그리고 자기효능감 및 결과기대는 그릿에 직·간접적으로 정적인 영향을 미치는 인과적 구조모형 설정이 가능하다. 둘째, 특성화고등학교 학생의 학교소속감, 부모지지, 자기효능감 및 결과기대는 그릿에 정적인 영향을 미친다. 특히 자기효능감과 학교소속감이 결과기대와 부모지지보다 그릿에 미치는 영향이 더 크다. 셋째, 학생의 학교소속감은 자기효능감을 매개로 그릿에 정적인 영향을 미치고, 자기효능감과 결과기대를 이중매개로 그릿에 정적인 영향을 미친다. 넷째, 학생의 부모지지는 자기효능감을 매개로 그릿에 정적인 영향을 미치고, 자기효능감과 결과기대를 이중매개로 그릿에 정적인 영향을 미친다.

The purpose of this study was to identify a causal relationship between sense of school belonging, parental support, self-efficacy, outcome expectation, and grit of specialized vocational high school students. The population consist of currently registered students in specialized high schools across the country. In order to select a representative sampling of the population, a total of 468(18 schools) were selected using stratified proportional sampling, after considering the location of the school (special city, metropolitan city, province) and its type(industry, commerce, and other). Data collection took place from 15 to 30th October 2018, and 450 out of 468(96.2%) copies distributed to 18 schools was returned. Among that, 427 were used for the final analysis (94.9% effective data rate), excluding the unreliable data. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 23.0 for Windows and Amos 23.0 statistical program was used to analyze the structural equation model to determine the relationship between fitness and variables. The statistical significance level was set at .05. The conclusion of the study is as follows. First, a causal structure model could be established between sense of school belonging, parent support, self-efficacy, outcome expectation and grit of specialized vocational high school students. Second, sense of school belonging, parent support, self-efficacy, and outcome expectation of specialized vocational high school students have a significant effect on grit. Particularly, the self-efficacy and sense of school belonging have more influence on grit more than the result outcome expectation and the parental support. Third, the sense of school belonging of specialized vocational high school students has an indirect effect on grit through self-efficacy, while self-efficacy and outcome expectations have a dually mediated influence on grit. Fourth, parental support has a direct effect on grit through self-efficacy, while self-efficacy and outcome expectations have dually mediated influence on grit.
