귀농·귀촌인의 교육 참여 영향 요인 탐색

Urban-to-Rural Migrants’ Participation in Education and its Related Variables

귀농･귀촌인에 대한 교육은 농업과 농촌에 대한 중요한 기술과 정보를 제공하고, 인적 네트워크를 형성해주기에 이들의 정착에 중요한 역할을 한다. 정부가 귀농·귀촌 지원 대책을 추진하기 시작한 2009년 이후 관련 교육이 급증하고 있다. 이 연구에서는 귀농·귀촌인의 교육 참여 실태를 분석하고, 영향 요인을 탐색하였다. 한국농촌경제연구원의 귀농·귀촌인 추적조사 2015년 조사 자료를 활용하여, 선행 연구 고찰을 통해 도출된 분석 모형을 검증하였고, 분석 결과 몇 가지 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 귀농·귀촌인의 교육 참여는 예비 귀농･귀촌 교육 참여 시간이 많을수록 활발하다. 둘째 귀농·귀촌인 자치 모임이 활발할수록 귀농·귀촌인의 교육 참여가 활발하다. 셋째, 신규로 귀농·귀촌한 사람일수록 교육 참여가 활발하다. 넷째, 농업 생산자 조직에 참여하는 귀농·귀촌인일수록 교육 참여가 활발하다. 다섯째, 귀농·귀촌인의 성별, 연령, 학력, 영농승계여부 등은 선행연구와 달리 교육 참여의 영향 요인이 아니었다. 이상의 연구 결과와 더불어 후속 연구로서 귀농·귀촌인의 심리특성, 교육기관, 강사, 교육과정 특성 등을 고려한 귀농·귀촌인의 교육 참여 요인 분석을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate urban-to-rural migrants’ participation in education and the related variables. For the purpose, this study analyzed Korea Rural Economic Institute(KREI)’s urban-to-rural migrants survey(2015), using tobit regression model. As results, this study made following conclusions: urban-to-rural migrants’ education participation was related with pre-migration education hour and their perception of agricultural professionality; the vitality of local urban-to-rural migrants’ meeting and local government’s support had relationship with their participation in education; new urban-to-rural migrants and those who have a membership of producer-organization were more active participants in education; gender, age, school year, and farm successor or not were not the related variables of education participation while preceding studies suggested their relationship. In addition, future study on urban-to-rural migrants’ education participation including psychological variables(educational motive, psychological burden), and other educational variable(institute, instructor, program) was suggested.
