농촌교육농장 방문객의 선호체험과 교육적 효과 간의 정준상관관계 분석

An Examination of the Relationship between Preferred Farm Activities and Educational Effects for Visitors: Canonical Correlation Analysis

이 연구에서는 농촌교육농장의 교육프로그램 구성에 대한 효과적인 지침을 제공하기 위해서 방문객이 선호하는 체험활동과 교육적 효과의 관계를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 전국 50개 농촌교육농장 방문객 408명을 대상으로 설문지 조사를 실시하였다. 우선 선호체험활동과 교육적 효과에 대한 요인분석을 실시하였다. 이후 이 둘 간의 관계를 분석하기 위해 정준상관 관계 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 교육농장 선호체험활동과 교육적 효과는 유의미한 상관관계가 있음을 보여주고 있다. 첫째, 전체적으로 보면 특정 체험활동이 특정 교육적 효과에 영향을 미치기 보다는 체험활동 전반이 교육적 효과 전반에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 둘째, 선호체험활동에서는 수확․음식체험 요인이 교육적 효과에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 교육적 효과 중에서는 학습태도 요인이 선호체험활동과 가장 관련이 높은 것으로 나타났다.

The study examines the relationship between preferred farm activities and educational effects for visitors on educational farm in South Korea. Using self-administered questionnaires, an on-site survey of educational farm visitors was conducted. The survey yielded 408 questionnaire responses in 50 educational farms. Principal component analysis and canonical correlation analysis were adopted to examine the data. Canonical correlation analysis showed that walking related activity, animal and plant related activity, riding related activity, and harvest related activity factors of preferred farm activities were significantly correlated to learning attitude, life habit, eating habit, and environmental awareness of educational effects. Especially animal and plant related activity factor was highly correlated with learning attitude. The managerial implications of these results are examined.
