학교생활기록부 진로관련 기록의 작성·관리·활용 실태 및 개선방안

Current Status and Directions on Writing, Management, and Use of Career Related Records in Transcript of School Records

이 연구의 목적은 학교생활기록부 진로관련 기록의 작성·관리·활용 실태와 개선 요구를 파악하여 교육적 활용 가치를 높일 수 있도록 하는 개선방안을 도출하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 학교생활기록부의 성격과 진로관련 기록의 변천과정 및 해당 기록의 작성·관리·활용에 관한 법률적 규정 등에 대한 문헌고찰을 실시하였고 초·중·고등학교 교사를 대상으로 학교생활기록부 진로관련 기록에 관한 인식과 개선 요구를 파악하기 위한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이를 토대로 도출된 연구의 결과를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사들이 학교생활기록부 진로관련 기록을 신뢰롭고 충실하게 작성할 수 있도록 작성양식 및 기재요령을 개선하고 구체적인 가이드라인을 제시할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 학교생활기록부 진로관련 기록은 기록의 특성상 학령기에 걸쳐 장기적으로 누적 관리되어야 지속적이고 심층적인 진로지도상담 과정에서 효과적으로 활용할 수 있으므로 해당 기록이 초·중등에 걸쳐 연계될 수 있도록 관련 법령을 개정할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 학교생활기록부 진로관련 기록이 학생 맞춤형 진로설계 지원을 위한 실질적인 자료로 활용되기 위해서는 교사가 초·중등에 걸쳐 연계된 해당 기록을 통해 학령기 동안의 학생진로발달 수준과 변화 양상을 파악하여 진로지도상담할 수 있도록 도와주는 매뉴얼이 개발·보급될 필요가 있다.

The purposes of this study were to identify the current status of writing, management, and use of career related records in transcript of school records and to provide directions for utilizing the cumulative records of elementary to secondary school life. To achieve these purposes, literature reviews of applicable legal obligations on writing, management, and use of career related records in transcript of school records and a survey of elementary, secondary, and high school teachers were conducted. The major results of this study are as follows: First, it is necessary to provide detailed guidelines to teachers for their reliable and faithful writing of career related records in transcript of school records by improving forms and manuals. Second, it is necessary to revise the legislations to keep cumulative records from elementary to secondary schools in that career related records should be stored and managed continually over a long period of time to accord with the students’career development level and to utilize the records during the in-depth career guidance and counseling. Third, it is necessary to develop a cumulative record handbook and to distribute it for teachers to use the records for their career guidance and counseling in accordance with students’career development level and the aspect of transition, that cumulative records could be used as practical data for supporting personalized career planning for students.
