이 연구는 정부지원으로 운영되고 있는 학교기업지원사업에 참여하고 있는 학교기업을 선행연구에서 도출된 교육적 지표와 수익적 지표를 활용하여 분석하고;이를 통해 학교기업의 유형을 분류하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 첫째;학교급별 학교기업의 유형을 분류한 결과;전문계 고등학교의 학교기업은 교육중심으로 하는 교육중심형 학교기업;전문대학의 학교기업은 교육중심으로 하는 교육중심형 학교기업;대학교의 학교기업은 수익중심으로 하는 사업중심형 학교기업의 비율이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째;학교기업의 성과에 따른 유형을 구분한 결과;후진형 학교기업 비율이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째;교육과 수익 지표를 통해 학교기업을 분석한 결과;다양한 형태의 학교기업이 존재하고 있음을 알 수 있으며;이에 대한 지원방식 및 법률적 규제의 차별화가 필요하다. 넷째;각 학교기업의 유형별로 운영 및 지원;개선영역을 달리해야 할 것이다. 다섯째;스핀아웃(Spin-out)을 고려할 때 경제적 자립도가 낮은 학교기업이 다수 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과를 통한 제언은 다음과 같다. 첫째;교육중심형 학교기업과 수익중심형 학교기업이 분명하게 구별되는 만큼 이를 예산 지원에 있어 반영하여야 한다. 둘째;학교 기업의 재정적 자립수준을 중점적으로 고려하여 퇴출과 졸업을 결정하는 기준을 설정해야 할 것이다.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the performance of school-based enterprises supported by government from the educational criteria and commercial criteria;and to classify school-based enterprises by the type. The major conclusions of this study were as follows. First;considering the rate of field study investment;vocational high schools are running centrally for education;however university and college are centrally for commercial benefit. Second;the percentage of the school-based enterprises which have low benefits from both educational point and commercial point is quite high. Third;there are certainly different types of school-based enterprises;so financial assistance system and legal regulation should be customized. Fourth;each type of school-based enterprises is advanced differently such as operating;supporting;and improving. Fifth;many school-based enterprises don t have enough ability to spin-out with weak economic independence. Based on the results;some recommendations were suggested. First;the type of school-based enterprise such as the one centered educational point;and the other centered commercial point are should be considered to give financial support. Second;the criteria should be clarified from economic independence whether to spin-out or kick out.
