농업계 고등학교 출신 대학생의 대학수학능력과 고교 내신성적 및 대학수학능력시험성적의 관계

The Relationships between College Scholastic Ability, High School Academic Records and College Scholastic Ability Test of Agricultural High School Graduates Advancing Agricultural Government-established College

이 연구의 목적은 농업계 고교 출신 대학생들의 대학교과 이수의 어려움 및 성취수준에 대해 고교성적과 대학수학능력시험 결과가 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 구명하는데 있었다. 연구목적 달성을 위해 7개 대학에 재학중인 303명의 응답자료가 분석에 활용되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 농업계 고교 출신 대학생의 대학교과 이수의 어려움은 고교 성적보다는 대학수학능력시험 결과와 많은 관련이 있었다. 둘째, 재학중인 대학의 속성을 통제한 후의 분석결과 교양 및 전공과목 이수상의 어려움은 주로 대학수학능력시험의 수리영역 점수에 기인하고 있었다. 셋째, 일반계 고교 출신자와 비교할 때 자신의 교양 및 전공과목 성적 수준에 대한 인식 역시 대학수학능력시험의 수리영역 성적에 기인하고 있었으나, 교양과목의 경우 수리영역 성적이 낮을수록 자신의 성적이 일반계 고교 출신자와 비교하여 상대적으로 낮게 인식하는 반면 전공교과의 경우는 수리영역 성적이 높을수록 자신의 성적이 일반계 고교 출신 학생에 비해 낮다고 인식하고 있었다. 이상의 결과에 기초하여 농고를 졸업하고 대학에 진학한 학생들의 대학에서의 학업성취도에 관한 연구가 지속적으로 이루어져야 하며 고교성적, 수학능력시험 등이 학생들의 대학성취과정 그리고 취업형태, 임금 등에 어떤 영향을 주는가에 대한 종단적 분석이 시도될 필요가 있다.

This study was to identify the effect of high school academic records and college scholastic ability test on college scholastic ability. The population for this study was 303 undergraduate students from 7 agricultural government-established universities. The results of this study were as follows: 1) College scholastic ability is related to college scholastic ability test rather than high school academic records. 2) Controling the universities characteristic, the result shows the difficulties of completing liberal arts and majors are mainly from CSAT s mathematics score. 3) In comparison with academic high school graduates, the recognition of liberal arts and majors grade is influenced by CSAT s mathematics score. In particular, students recognize highly their liberal arts grades if CSAT s mathematics score is high, but majors grade is recognized as lower point if CSAT s mathematics score is high. Based on the result of this study, the following recommendations for future researches were proposed: 1) college scholastic ability of agricultural high school graduates should be analysed continually, 2) longitudinal analysis should be performed for the effect of high school academic records and CSAT s score on achieving process, type of job selecting, and wages.
