본고는 고대근동의 배경에서 히브리 지혜문학의 신인(神人) 개념에 관한 연구이다. 메소포타미아 지혜전승에서 지혜의 근원은 신들에게서 나왔고 신들과 인간 사이에 신인이 존재했는데 그것은 그리스-로마의 신인사상으로 발전했다. 구약성경 잠언은 고대근동 지혜문학의 최고책이며, 존재의 죽음과 부활, 및 기원이 궁극적 관심의 문제이다. 히브리지혜는 다양한 형태로 인격화되었고 세상의 창조에서 신위(神位)로 신격화되었다. 신인은 성육화된 사랑과 지혜로서 세상과 인간 창조에서 창조주 하나님 곁에 장인처럼 곁에 계셔서 동역했다. 그분은 이 세상 창조에 기뻐하셨고 인간 창조에 즐거워하셨다. 그분은 피조물들에 대한 신적 배려와 사랑을 보여주고 계신다. 이것이 신약에서 말씀(logos)과 지혜(sophia)의 배경이자 예수 그리스도를 가리킨다. 지혜, 명철 그리고 지식의 삼중연합이 지구 자연계와 인간 창조에 동역했다. 또한, 지혜는 명철, 지식, 공평과 정의, 정직, 전략 그리고 근신 등을 포함한다. 자연계, 지구 생태계와 성경은 모두 동일한 근원, 즉 신인에게서 유래되었다. 그래서 바르게 이해된다면, 신앙과 학문의 통합되어야 하고, 모든 것에는 조화가 있게 마련이다.
The topic of this research is a study on the concept of divine person as personified and deified in Hebrew wisdom literature in the Ancient Near Eastern backgrounds. In Mesopotamian wisdom tradition, origin of wisdom is from gods, and divine person existed between gods and humans, which led to Greek divine person. The book of Proverbs is the best of wisdom literature in the ancient near east, where the death and resurrection and origin of existence are of ultimate concern. Hebrew wisdom is personified in diverse forms, and defied as hypostasis, godhead in the creation of the world. Divine person, the incarnated love and wisdom, was beside God the creator like a master worker in the creation of the world and humanity. He rejoiced in this world and delighted in the human race, showing divine care and love for creatures, which is background of the word (logos) and wisdom (sophia) in the New Testament, and points to Jesus Christ. Three fold union of wisdom, understanding and knowledge works together in the creation of the natural world and human society. Wisdom includes understanding, knowledge, fairness and justice, honesty, strategy, and prudence in general. Natural world, the terrestrial world and the Bible are from the same origin, divine person, for which there may be integration of faith and learning, union and harmony among all, if correctly understood.
