예비보육교사의 자아개념, 전공이해도, 보육교사자질에 대한 인식

The pre-service edu-care teachers’ self-concept, understanding for major knowledge, perception of the quality of edu-care teachers

본 연구의 목적은 예비보육교사의 자아개념, 전공이해도, 보육교사자질에 대한 인식을 살펴보고, 자아개념, 전공이해도, 보육교사자질 인식이 상호 어떠한 관계에 있는지를 알아보는데 있다. 연구를 위하여 경기도에 위치한 전문대학의 아동보육과 1학년과 2학년 학생 183명을 대상으로 설문지를 배포하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 평균과 표준편차, 독립표본 t검증, 변인간 pearson의 적률상관계수 산출, 단계적 다중회귀분석방법으로 분석되었다. 연구결과, 1) 예비보육교사의 자아개념, 전공이해도, 보육교사자질에 대한 인식은 평균이상으로 비교적 높게 나타났다. 2) 예비보육교사의 자아개념과 보육교사 자질은 강한 상관관계를 가지고 있으며, 1학년과 2학년 모두 예비보육교사의 자아개념과 전공이해도, 보육교사 자질과 전공이해도는 유의한 상관관계가 나타나지 않았다. 3) 예비보육교사의 자아개념은 보육교사자질에 대한 인식에 영향을 미쳤으나 전공이해도는 보육교사 자질에 대한 인식에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 보육교사의 기본 자질을 갖춘 예비보육교사 양성을 위한 교육과정 개발에 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the pre-service edu-care teachers’ self-concept, understanding for major knowledge, perception of the quality of edu-care teachers. For this purpose, this study sampled 183 college students in Gyeonggi Province and conducted the questionnaire survey. The data were analyzed by SPSS program. The results of this study were as following. First, the pre-service edu-care teachers’ self-concept, understanding for major knowledge, perception of the quality of edu-care teachers appeared relatively high. Second, the pre-service edu-care teaches’ self-concept and perception of the quality of edu-care teachers had strong correlation. But there was no significant correlation to the pre-service edu-care teachers’ self-concept, understanding for major knowledge and perception of the quality of edu-care teachers between first year college students and second year college students. Third, the pre-service edu-care teachers’ self-concept affect perception of the quality of edu-care teachers, but the pre-service edu-care teachers’ understanding for major knowledge did not affect the perception of the quality of edu-care teachers. These results would be used the basic date to develop an effective curriculum for the pre-service edu-care teachers.
