아동의 화용언어능력이 아동의 학교 또래적응에 미치는 영향

Effects of children s pragmatic language competence on school peer adjustment: the mediating effects of school environment

본 연구는 아동의 화용언어능력, 학교환경, 아동의 학교 또래적응의 수준과 변인 간 구조적 관계를 살펴보고, 아동의 화용언어능력과 아동의 학교 또래적응 간의 관계에서 학교환경의 매개효과를 살펴보는 연구이다. 본 연구에서는 육아정책연구소(KICCE)의 한국아동패널 10차년도(2017년) 자료를 사용하였다. 연구대상은 10차년도 조사에 참여한 아동 594명과 그들의 모, 담임교사이다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0과 AMOS 22.0을 사용하여 기술통계분석, 상관관계분석, 확인적 요인분석, 구조모형분석, 경로분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 아동의 화용언어능력은 아동의 학교 또래적응과 학교환경에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학교환경은 아동의 학교 또래적응에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학교환경은 아동의 화용언어능력이 아동의 학교 또래적응에 미치는 영향을 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 아동의 학교 또래적응에 영향을 미치는 인적환경을 탐색함으로써 아동의 학교 또래적응과 원활한 학교생활을 지원하는데 기초자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

This study examined the structural relationships among the level and variable of children s pragmatic language competence, school environment, children s school peer adjustment, and investigated the mediating effects of school environment in the relationships among children s pragmatic language competence and their school peer adjustment. This study were used 10th year (2017) data of the Panel Study on Korean Children of Korea Institute of Child Care and Education(KICCE). The subjects of the study were 594 children who had participated in the 10th year survey and their mothers and homeroom teachers. For collected data, this study conducted descriptive statistic analysis, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation model analysis and path analysis using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 22.0. Results of this study were as follows. First, children s pragmatic language competence had positive effects on children s school peer adjustment and school environment. Second, school environment had positive effects on children s school peer adjustment. Third, school environment partially mediated in the effects of children s pragmatic language competence on their school peer adjustment. Through the foregoing, this study is expected to provide basic data for children s school peer adjustment and smooth school life by exploring human environment affecting school peer adjustment of children.
