성찰일지 활용 특수교육학개론 수업에 참여한 예비유아교사의 특수교육에 대한 인식 변화

Changes in pre-service early childhood teachers perception of special education after participation in special education introductory class by applying reflection journal

본 연구의 목적은 성찰일지를 활용한 특수교육학개론 수업 참여를 통해 예비유아교사의 특수교육에 대한 인식이 어떻게 변화되는지 살펴보고, 성찰일지를 활용한 수업이 갖는 교육적 의미와 이와 관련한 수업설계에 대한 시사점을 제공하는데 있다. 연구 참여자는 특수교육학개론을 수강하는 예비유아교사 56명이며, 수업 전 후로 작성된 성찰일지, 면담자료, 연구자 일지, 수업 결과물 등의 자료를 수집하여 질적 분석하였다. 이러한 분석결과를 바탕으로 예비유아교사들에게 나타난 특수교육에 대한 인식 변화과정을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특수교육의 대상에 대한 인식의 변화가 나타났다. 둘째, 특수아를 무한한 잠재력이 있는 대상으로서 인식하기에 변화가 나타났다. 셋째, 특수아와 양육자의 어려움 공감하기에 대한 변화가 나타났다. 넷째, 예비교사로서의 봉사 실천하기와 자신을 긍정적으로 인식하기에 대한 변화가 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 통하여 교수-학습과정에서 나타난 성찰일지 작성과 수업에서의 활용은 학습자의 능동적인 참여와 특수교육에 대한 긍정적인 인식의 변화에 효과적이었음을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study is to examine how the perception of the special education of pre-service early childhood teacher changes through participation in Special Education Introductory course using the reflection journal, and to learn about the educational meaning of the lessons using the reflection journals and related instructional design. Participants in the study were 56 pre-service early childhood teachers taking an introduction to special education studies. Qualitative analysis was done by collecting data such as reflection journals, interview data, researcher journals, and class results written before and after classes. First, there were changes in perception of the object of special education. Second, there were change in recognizing special children as objects with infinite potential. Third, there were change in empathy between special children and nurturers. Fourth, there were change in the practice of serving as a pre-service teacher and positively recognizing oneself. Through the results of this study, it is suggested that the preparation of the reflection journal and the use in the class that appeared in the teaching-learning process was effective for the active participation of learners and the positive perception of special education.
