예비 취농자 및 신규 취농자의 영농에 대한 태도 연구

Attitude toward Farming of Prospective Farmers and Beginning Farmers

이 연구는 앞으로 영농활동에 종사하고자 교육을 받고 있는 사람 그리고 교육을 마치고 새로 영농활동을 시작한 신규 취농자들이 영농에 대하여 어떠한 태도를 가지고 있으며, 이들의 영농관련 개인특성과 주변여건(연령, 출신지, 농가출신, 농사경험, 농업계 학교교육 경험, 취농 여부)이 영농에 대한 태도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 연구목적 달성을 위해 여주농업전문학교와 (사)전국귀농운동본부 재학생(교육생) 273명, 졸업생(교육이수생) 중 현재 취농 중 인자 107명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과 예비 취농자 및 신규 취농자들은 전반적으로 영농에 대한 긍정적인 태도를 가지는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 농가 출신으로 영농에 종사하고 있는 경우에 가장 긍정적 태도를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에, 농촌 출신 여부, 영농 경험 유무, 농업계 학교교육 경험 등은 영농에 대한 태도에 그다지 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 분석되었다.

This study was to investigate the attitude toward farming of prospective farmers and beginning farmers. For the purpose, this study surveyed 273 prospective farmers and 107 beginning farmers. Survey analysis indicated the following. The prospective and beginning farmers generally have positive farming attitudes. Specially, the farming attitude depended on such variables as whether people were born in farm or not and whether they are currently farming or not, while there were no differences of the attitude according to rural area origin, farming experience, and agricultural education experience. The most critical variable related to the farming attitude was whether people are currently farming or not.
