The aim of this study was to analyze student satisfaction level for curriculum courses offered by agricultural high schools and to understand a way to develop agricultural education and to promote improved quality of education. This study attained the following results. First, the self-management department students and the students who were satisfied with the operation of the course system selected departments and courses based on their records, aptitudes, and occupation prospects. This was compared with non self-management students and the students who were dissatisfied with the operation of course system. Second, academic achievements of the students were highest for self-management department students and students who were satisfied with the operation of the course system. Third, this study performed the influence of operation of the course system on selection of their way. Fourth, as for the selection of occupation, students wanted to be a public officer more than any other field. Self-management department students and the students who were satisfied with the operation of the course system preferred occupations related to agriculture over non self-management department students. Meanwhile, students who were dissatisfied with the operation of the course system or the students who responded it to be medium. Fifth, as for the connection between the contents of major courses and qualifications of engineers, the students who were satisfied with the operation of the course system hoped the connection between them were more than the students who were dissatisfied with the operation of the course system or the students who responded it to be medium. Sixth, as for the need of field inspections and frequency for selection of courses, the students who were satisfied with the operation of the course system recognized needs more than the students who were dissatisfied with it or the students who responded it to be medium. Seventh, as for the operation method of course system, generally, students hoped to operate open course systems more than fixed course systems or changed course systems.
