The purpose of this study was to investigate relationship between the vocational interest and vocational aspiration and career development of elementary school students. The data were gathered from 2,520 fifth and sixth grade students in elementary schools by the survey. The major findings of the study were as follows: (1) there was a specific difference between the vocational interest type and vocational aspiration type in gender of elementary students; (2) the rate of coincidence between the vocational interest type and vocational aspiration type was higher than the theorical average, the difference in gender was rather remarkable; (3) career development of elementary students was identified that girl students rather than boy students, the sixth students rather than the fifth students were higher in career development level; (4) there was a wide difference of career development level according to each vocational interest type and vocational aspiration type; (5) career development level was the highest if there s perfect coincidence between the vocational interest type and vocational aspiration type.
