The purposes of this study were to analyze the level of career exploration behavior of junior college students, and to examine the relationship between career exploration behavior and career decision-making style, and to determine the relationship between career exploration behavior and perceived social support. The population for this study consisted of the junior college students. With the stratified random sampling method, 499 students were drawn from this population and measures of career exploration behavior, career decision-making style, and perceived social support were administrated to this sample. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, one-way analysis of variance, independent-sample t-test, pearson product-moment correlation, multiple regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows: ① There were differences in career exploration behavior of junior college students by personal characteristics such as experience of military service, grade, department of major, working experience. But there were little differences in self-exploration, and mainly differences in environmental exploration. ② Rational decision-making style, intuitive decision-making style, and dependant decision-making style were positively related to career exploration behavior of junior college students. These results imply that career exploration behavior is performed by intuitive and dependant decision-making way as well as rational thinking process toward career and work. But the results of regression analysis imply that individuals with more rational decision-making style are likely to perform more career exploration behavior. ③ Relationship between career exploration behavior and perceived social support was statistically significant, but the level of relationship was low. This result imply that the influence of perceived social support toward career exploration behavior is not much. Based upon the results of this study, some recommendations were suggested for the future research.
