A New Paradigm for Environmental Education in the Agricultural High School

The objectives of the study was to suggest a new paradigm for environmental education in the agricultural high school. In order to accomplish the objective, research methods such as literature review, content analysis, survey and expert panel etc. was used. The major findings were as follows; Firstly, current status of environmental education in the agricultural high school was analyzed and some problems were identified. Secondly, environmental education systems of the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Environment, and NGOs were also analyzed. Thirdly, current status of environmental education in major advanced countries was analyzed and some implications were drawn. Fourthly, environmental education model were developed for improvement of environmental education in the agricultural high school and some concrete educational strategies were suggested. Lastly, Based on the result of the study, some recommendations were suggested.
