초․중등학교 교양농업교육의 발전방향

Directions of General Agricultural Education in Elementary and Secondary Schools

The purposes of this study were to identify the actual condition and the problem of general agricultural education, to present the new directions of it in elementary and secondary schools. Toward this purposes, The analysis criteria were curriculum, recognition, environment of practical arts education. The major findings of the study were as follows ; (1) General agricultural education should convert vocational education level into general education level, have closely articulation between elementary and secondary schools. And, general agricultural teachers should apply various methods and evaluation to teaching-learning process for development of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. (2) Educational executives, teachers, students, and parents should convert negative recognition of general agricultural education into positive it. Toward this, teachers recognition should change previously. And, teachers should teach all students a general agriculture. (4) General agricultural education should improve an environment such as development of teaching-learning materials , support of executive and finance , security of enough time etc.
