농업계 고교생의 대학수학능력 향상을 위한 제7차 교육과정 편성․운영

Organization and Operation of the 7th Curriculum for College Scholastic Abilities of Agricultural High School Students

Recently, agricultural high school students(AHSS) have gone to college many more than former days, and hereafter, this increasing trend will have continue. But, this trend could be attributed to the easy and various forms of selection for college admission, and thus the competing rate s reduction, and to the related policy of the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development, regardless of the college scholastic abilities(CSA) and the scholastic achievement of AHSS. Therefore, it s the time deeply consider the quality of AHSS s scholastic ability to complete college curriculum successfully, not the degree of college entrance rate. For this, this study was carried out in order to grope the plans for organizing and operating the 7th curriculum in agricultural high schools for CSA improving, especially the basic scholastic abilities(BSA). Firstly, this study analyzed BSA that are requested to AHSS for successful college curriculum completion. In result, this study identified some needed BSA for AHSS, including verbal ability, mathematic ability, foreign language(english) ability, and inquiry abilities(social studies, natural science, basic major studies). Secondly, this study presented plans for organizing and operating the 7th curriculum in agricultural high schools for the above BSA improving through analyzing the related subjects of the 7th curriculum, and several plans for ensuring hours to organizing and operating the related subjects of the above BSA. But, this study didn t present concrete plans for organizing the related subjects and for allocating the subjects s hour(unit) because there could be design various of forms. Therefore, these plans could be necessary for agricultural high schools oneself to prepare in consideration of their conditions and characteristics, and so forth.
