청소년기 관계적 공격성과 관련된 개인적, 환경적 특성 고찰: 국내 학술지 발표논문을 중심으로

Relational Aggression During Adolescence: A Systematic Review of Personal and Environmental Factors from Published Articles in South Korea

본 연구는 청소년의 관계적 공격성에 관한 국내 학술지 발표연구의 경향을 파악하고 분석대상 논문을 바탕으로 청소년기 관계적 공격성과 관련된 개인적, 환경적 특성을 고찰하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 국내에서 발표된 청소년기 관계적 공격성에 관한 논문 총 47편을 분석대상으로 선정하였다. 논문의 발표현황, 연구대상, 연구유형, 관계적 공격성 변인 유형, 측정도구, 관계적 공격성과 함께 분석된 변인들을 살피고, 그 내용을 개인적 특성과 환경적 특성으로 구분하여 정리하였다. 관계적 공격성에 대한 연구는 최근 10년간 꾸준히 수행되었으며, 초기청소년을 대상으로 한 연구가 많았다. 자료수집방법으로는 자기보고식 질문지법이 가장 많이 사용되었고, 관계적 공격성 변인이 종속변인으로 분석된 경우가 많았다. 관계적 공격성과 관련된 개인적 특성으로는 부정정서, 정서조절능력 등 사회・정서발달 영역의 변인이, 환경적 특성으로는 부모의 양육행동이 포함된 가족특성 변인이 주로 다루어졌다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 청소년기 관계적 공격성에 대한 추후 연구의 방향과 청소년과 부모를 위한 예방 및 중재 프로그램의 방향에 대한 시사점을 제안하였다.

The study aims to provide a comprehensive review of studies on relational aggression during adolescence in South Korea. First, a systematic review of methods and findings on relational aggression was conducted. Second, personal and environmental factors relevant to relational aggression were extracted from empirical findings of published articles. An electronic search of the literature published between 2004 and 2020 identified 47 studies for inclusion. Studies were coded to extract data on participant characteristics, research design, instruments, type of variable and relevant factors. Results indicate that the articles on relational aggression of adolescents have been steadily published over the past 10 years. Participants were mostly in their early adolescence and the self-report questionnaire method was most frequently used to assess relational aggression. Also, relational aggression was analyzed mainly as a dependent variable in the cross-sectional approach. Findings demonstrate that personal characteristics linked to relational aggression were primarily socio-emotional factors including emotion regulations, rejection sensitivity, and negative emotions. Also, environmental factors linked to relational aggression were mainly parenting style including psychological control and monitoring. Recommendations and consideration are given to future directions in the study of relational aggression during adolescence.
