자연물 미술치료가 아동양육시설 유아의 자아존중감, 놀이성, 공동체의식에 미치는 효과

Effects of Art Therapy Using Natural Objects on Self-esteem, Playfulness, Community Consciousness of Children from Residential Nurseries

본 연구는 자연물 미술치료가 아동양육시설 유아의 자아존중감, 놀이성, 공동체의식에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 데 목적을 둔다. 연구대상은 전북 J시의 A아동양육시설과 B아동양육시설의 유아 22명으로 실험집단 11명, 통제집단 11명으로 구성되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0을 이용해 Cronbach s α, 독립표본 t-test, 대응표본 t-test 분석을 실시하였고, 유아 행동 관찰기록, 저널, 작품 등을 분석하여 자료 안에 있는 의미를 발견하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자연물 미술치료는 아동양육시설 유아의 자아존중감에 긍정적인 효과가 있었다. 또한 아동양육시설 유아의 자아존중감 행동 변화를 확인할 수 있었다. 둘째, 자연물 미술치료는 아동양육시설 유아의 놀이성에 긍정적인 효과가 있었다. 또한 아동양육시설 유아의 자아존중감 행동 변화를 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 자연물 미술치료는 아동양육시설 유아의 공동체의식에 긍정적인 효과가 있었다. 또한 아동양육시설 유아의 공동체의식 행동 변화를 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 자연물 미술치료는 아동양육시설 유아의 자아존중감, 놀이성, 공동체의식을 향상시키는데 효과적이라는 것을 알 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to verify the effects of art therapy using natural objects on self-esteem, playfulness, and community consciousness of children from residential nurseries. The subjects of this study were 22 children from institutions in J city in Jeollabuk-do. Among them, 11 children from A childcare institution are in the experimental group and 11 children from B childcare institution are in the control group. Cronbach s α, independent sample t-test analysis, corresponding sample t-test were analyzed by SPSS 23.0 and the meaning of the data was found by analyzing records of observation, journals, and works of drawings. The results of this study are as follows: First, art therapy using natural objects has a positive effect on improving self-esteem of the children from residential nurseries. It further identified changes of self-esteem of children in childcare institutes. Second, art therapy using natural objects has a positive effect on the playfulness of the children from residential nurseries. It further identified changes of the playfulness of children in childcare institutes. Third, art therapy using natural objects has a positive effect on the community consciousness of the children from residential nurseries. It further identified changes of the community consciousness of children in childcare institutes. Therefore, the study reveals that art therapy using natural objects has positive effects on self-esteem, playfulness, and community consciousness of children from residential nurseries.
