온라인 수업 내실화를 위한 질 관리 프로그램 개발 연구

A Study on the Development of Quality Assurance Program for Enhancing Online Classes: Focused on the Case of University A

본 연구는 일반대학의 온라인 수업의 내실화 방안의 일환으로 온라인 수업 질 관리 프로그램을 개발하고 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 관련 국내외 소논문 고찰과 일반대학 운영 사례 조사 및 교원과 재학생 대상의 설문을 실시하였다. 그리고 도출된 결과들을 중심으로 4단계의 온라인 수업 질 관리 프로그램을 개발하였다. 프로그램특성은 교육과 평가를 혼용하는 것이다. 기본단계는 지난 한 해 동안 교원 모두가 온라인 수업을 운영해 보았으므로 오리엔테이션을 활용한 교육을 통해‘Beginer’인증이 되며, 1단계는 수업과 기술 관련 기초내용으로 총 10회의 워크숍 참여 및 교육내용에 대한 자료 제출 평가로‘Core’인증, 2단계는 수업과 기술 관련 심화 내용으로 총 10회의 워크숍 참여 및 강의계획서와 1회 수업계획서 평가로‘Expert’인증, 3단계는 전문가가 멘토로 투입되어 직접 온라인 콘텐츠 개발과 실시간 쌍방향 온라인 수업을 운영하고 관련 자료 제출 평가를 학생 평가와 더불어 실시하고 ‘Master’인증을 한다. 평가는 사전 안내된 루브릭을 사용한다. 향후 과제로 규정 반영 및 전담 부서 필요, 재원 확보, 꾸준한 관리가 제시되었다.

The objective of this study is to explore the necessities of developing a program for the qualitative improvement of online classes in general universities, and also to develop and present an online class quality management program. For this, this study considered the relevant domestic/foreign research papers, researched the operating cases of foreign universities, and conducted a survey targeting the professors and students. And based on the drawn results, a 4-phased online class quality management program was developed. In the basic phase, the certification of ‘Beginner’ is given through education using orientation as every professor had experiences of operating online classes last year. In phase 1, the certification of ‘Core’ is given after participating in ten times of workshops about basic contents related to class and techniques, and then submitting materials related to class design for assessment. In phase 2, the certification of ‘Expert’ is given after participating in total ten times of workshops about intensified contents related to class and techniques, and then submitting materials related to class design for assessment. In phase 3, an actual expert is put as a mentor to help the development of online contents and operation of real-time bidirectional online class. The certification of ‘Master’ is given through the assessment of submission of relevant materials and student assessment. For the assessment, the rubric that has been guided in advance is used. The significance of this study is to suggest an online class quality management program for general universities. However, this study only used a single case of university for exploration, so it is difficult to generalize its results.
