초·중등 학부모 임원의 학교갈등관리 경험에 관한 내러티브 연구

A Narrative Inquiry on the School Conflict Management Experiences of School Parents Executives

이 연구의 목적은 학교에서 발생하는 다양한 갈등상황 중 학부모와 관련된 갈등을 성공적으로 대처하는 학부모 임원의 경험에 대해 심도 있게 살펴보는 것이다. 연구퍼즐은 첫째, 학교 내 학부모와 관련된 갈등은 학부모 임원에게 어떤 의미를 지니는가? 둘째, 학부모 갈등을 대처하고 관리하는 학부모 임원의 경험은 어떠한가? 연구자는 학부모 임원의 경력을 갖고 초, 중, 고에서 15년 이상 학교운영위원회 위원과 학부모회 임원으로 활동한 2명의 연구 참여자들의 경험을 내러티브 방식으로 탐구하였다. 연구자는 연구 참여자들의 경험을 수집하고 분석하였으며 그들이 학부모 임원으로서 학교내 학부모 갈등을 남다르게 대처하고 관리하는 삶을 살아가고 있다는 것을 일관성 있는 이야기적 텍스트로 재구성하였다. 또한 학부모 임원들이 어떻게 갈등을 대처하고 관리하는지 그리고 이런 노력에는 어떠한 철학과 가치가 내포되어있는지를 알아보았다. 이를 통해 연구 참여자들의 노력이 학교에서 일어나는 학부모 관련 갈등을 예방하고 해결하는데 방향성과 시사점을 제시할 수 있다는 확신을 갖게 되었다.

The purpose of this study is to take an in-depth look at the experiences of parents executives successfully dealing with parents-related conflicts in schools. First, what does the conflict with parents in school mean to parent executives? Second, what is the experiences of parents executives dealing with and managing parent conflicts? The researcher explored the experiences of two research participants who had experiences for more than 15 years as parents executives in schools. The researcher analyzed the participants experiences and reconstructed them into coherent narrative texts that they lived a life of dealing with and managing parent conflicts in schools. It also looked at how parents executives coped with and managed conflicts and what philosophy and values are in these efforts. Through this, we have got the ideas that the efforts of the participants can present direction and implications in preventing and resolving parent-related conflicts in schools.
