가정폭력 피해경험이 데이트폭력에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Domestic Violence Victimization on Dating Violence Perpetration : Focusing on the Moderating Effect of Relationship Satisfaction

국내외 선행연구는 연인과의 관계만족도가 가정폭력 피해 경험과 데이트폭력 가해의 관계에 미치는 영향력에 대해서 추가적인 연구가 필요하다고 제시하였다. 이 연구에서는 가정폭력 피해경험이 데이트폭력 가해에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 그 과정에서 관계만족도의 조절효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해, 교제 경험이 있는 전국의 성인 남성 1,995명을 대상으로 실시한 설문조사 자료를 활용하여 가설을 검증하였다. 분석의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가정폭력 피해경험은 데이트폭력 가해에 유의미한 정(+)적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 표준화 회귀계수를 통해 직접적 가정폭력 피해경험이 간접적 가정폭력 피해경험보다 데이트폭력 가해에 더 큰 영향을 미친다는 점을 발견하였다. 둘째, 직접적 가정폭력 피해경험(부모로부터의 학대)과 일부 데이트폭력 가해 유형(행동통제, 신체적 폭력)의 관계에서 유의미한 정(+)적 조절효과(순수조절)가 나타났다. 이는 선행연구와 일치하는 결과이다. 반면, 간접적 가정폭력 피해경험과 데이트 폭력의 관계에서 관계만족도의 유의미한 부(-)적 조절효과(유사조절)가 나타났다. 이는 선행연구 결과와 상반되는 내용으로, 이와 관련한 연구가 앞으로 더욱 필요함을 시사한다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 논의와 정책적 방안을 제시하였다.

The study aims to examine the influence of domestic violence victimization on dating violence perpetration and to analyze the moderation effect of relationship satisfaction. To achieve the purpose of such research, the statistical analysis and hypothesis verification was conducted on 1,995 adult males who have had romantic relationships in the whole country. The analysis results are as follows. First, the results show that experiences of domestic violence victimization had significant positive effects on dating violence perpetration. It was indicated, through standardized regression coefficients, abuse from parents had a bigger effect than witnessing inter-parental violence in dating violence. Second, there was a significantly positive moderation effect by relationship satisfaction, in a relation with abuse from parents and some dating violence - controlling behavior, physical violence. The results correspond with prior studies that said experiences of domestic violence affect dating violence. However, in the relations between witnessing interparental violence and all dating violence(controlling behavior, physical violence, psychological violence), there was a significant negative moderation effect by relationship satisfaction. These are opposite the results of the preceding study, so this suggests that more research is needed in the future. Based on these results, this study are presented discussions and policy measures.
