우수한 역량을 갖춘 대학생들의 역량개발 경험에 관한 연구

A Study on the Competency Development Experience of University Students with Excellent Competency

본 연구의 목적은 질적 자료 분석을 통해 우수한 역량을 갖춘 대학생들의 역량개발 경험을 연구하 는 것이다. 구체적인 연구 문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우수한 역량을 갖춘 대학생들의 역량개발 경험 에서 추출된 주요 키워드는 무엇이며 추출된 키워드 간의 의미연결 구조는 어떠한가? 둘째, 우수한 역 량을 갖춘 대학생들의 역량개발 경험에서 나타난 역량개발 동기 및 과정, 역량개발을 통한 성취나 변 화는 어떠한가? 본 연구를 위하여 A광역시의 4년제 B대학교에서 2015년부터 2018년까지 4년간 우 수한 역량을 갖춘 대학생으로 선발된 182명으로부터 얻은 33편의 에세이 형식의 수기와 182편의 자 기소개서를 수집하여 내용분석을 실시하였다. 먼저 텍스트마이닝과 의미연결망 분석을 실시하였고 그 결과를 바탕으로 이들의 역량개발 동기 및 과정, 역량개발을 통한 성취나 변화에 대한 특성을 분석 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 텍스트마이닝 분석 결과 ‘생각’이라는 키워드가 에세이 형식 의 수기에서 93회, 자기소개서에서 1,272회로 가장 많은 빈도수를 보였고, 의미연결망 분석에서는 ‘다 양한’이라는 키워드와 경험, 활동, 사람이라는 키워드가 서로 연결된 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 역량 우 수 대학생의 역량개발 동기는 생각, 목표설정, 행동 순으로 반복적인 특성을 나타났다. 셋째, 역량 우 수 대학생의 역량개발 과정은 정보수집, 행동, 기록 및 성찰 순으로 반복적인 특성이 나타났다. 넷째, 역량 우수 대학생의 역량개발을 통한 성취나 변화는 다양한 경험, 역량 발견, 업무 수행 능력과의 연결 순으로 반복적인 특성이 나타났다. 본 연구는 우수한 역량을 갖춘 대학생들의 역량개발 경험을 연구하여 대학과 대학생에게 시사점을 제공함으로써 대학교육을 통해 학생 스스로가 자신의 역량을 키우고 사회에서 요구하는 인재로 성장하는데 기여할 것으로 기대한다.

This research is to study the competency development experiences of university students with excellent competency through qualitative data analysis. For this study, an analysis was conducted by collecting 33 essays and 182 selfintroductions from 182 competent university students selected from B university in A city in 2015 2018. First, text mining and semantic network analysis were conducted, and based on the results, the motivation and process of competency development, and the characteristics of achievement or change through competency development were analyzed. The results of this study are as follows. First, as a result of text mining analysis, the key word thinking showed the highest frequency of 93 times in essays and 1,272 times in self introduction documents. The semantic network analysis showed that the key words various and the key words experience, activity, and people are linked. Second, the motivation for competency development of university students showed repetitive characteristics in the order of thought, goal setting, and behavior. Third, the competency development process of the excellent university students showed repetitive characteristics in the order of information gathering, behavior, record, and reflection. Fourth, achievement or change through competency development of the excellent university students showed repetitive characteristics in the order of various experiences, capability discovery, and connection with job performance ability. This study is expected to provide implications not only to university but also to their students by studying the competency development experiences, thereby contributing to the development of their own competencies and growth into talents demanded by society through college education.
