아동의 양육지각, 반추, 그리고 학교적응 간 관련성에 대한 단기․종단적 접근: 초등학교 4학년과 5학년 시기를 중심으로

Short-term Longitudinal Studies on the Relation among Children’s Perception of Parenting, Rumination and School Adjustment in Late Childhood

본 연구의 목적은 초등 고학년 시기 양육에 대한 아동지각, 반추, 그리고 학교적응 간 관련성을 단기․종단 적으로 알아보는 것이다. 연구대상자는 초등학교 5학년 아동 245명과 아동의 담임교사들이다. 양육지각, 아동반추는 아동 보고로, 그리고 학교적응은 아동의 각 담임교사의 보고로 초등 4학년 때와 5학년 때 1년 간격으로 설문지를 통해 측정되었다. 상관분석 결과, 4학년 거부․제재양육지각은 4학년 반추 및 5학년 반추와 정적 상관을 보였으나, 4, 5학년 학교적응과 부적 상관을 보였다. 학교적응에 영향을 주는 변인들 간 직․간접적인 연계성을 알아보기 위해 경로분석을 한 결과, 4학년 시기, 거부․제재양육지각은 학교적응과 직접적인 부적 관련을 그리고 아동반추와는 정적 관련을 보였으며, 5학년 거부․제재양육지각에 정적으로 영향을 주었다. 5학년 시기, 거부제재․양육지각은 학교적응과는 직접적인 관련을 보이지 않았으나, 아동반추를 매개로 하여 학교적응에 간접적으로 관련을 보였다. 4학년 거부제재․양육지각은 4학년 학교적응과 반추를 매개로, 그리고 5학년 거부제재양육지각을 매개로 5학년 학교적응에 부정적 영향을 주었다. 본 연구결과를 통해 초등 4학년 양육지각이 5학년 학교적응에 간접적으로 영향을 주는 요인임이 제안되었다.

This present investigates the longitudinal relations among children’s perception of rejection and control in parenting, rumination and school adjustment in late childhood. 245 students and their school teacher completed a questionnaire including these variables when they are fourth and fifth graders. The results of the correlation analysis showed that children’s perception of rejection and control in parenting at the 4th year is positively related to their rumination both at the 4th and 5th year and negatively related to their school adjustment. The path analysis revealed that the perception in parenting at the 4th year has a direct effect on their rumination and school adjustment at the 4th year and is related to their perception in parenting at the 5th year. The results showed that children’s perception of parenting at the 5th year has an effect on their school adjustment being mediated by their rumination but has no direct effect on their school adjustment. In addition, the perception in parenting at the 4th year has an indirect effect on their school adjustment at the 5th year by being mediated by school adjustment at the 4th year, rumination at the 4th and 5th year, and the perception in parenting at the 5th year.
