본 연구는 특수교육을 필요로 하는 자폐아를 대상으로 뇌체조, 호흡, 명상 등 뇌과학적 원리를 적용한 뇌교육프로그램의 효과성을 검증하는데 그 연구의 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 자폐성 장애를 가진 10대의 남자 아동 1명을 대상으로 48회 뇌교육 수업을 진행하였다. 프로그램 진행 후 아동의 뇌파 검사를 통해 뇌파의 변화도를 분석하였으며, 또한 아동의 관찰을 통해 정서 행동의 변화를 확인하였다. 이 연구 결과는 다양한 방법과 다각적인 교육의 방안으로써 뇌교육이 특수교육을 필요로 하는 아동에게 새로운 교육의 대안이 될 수 있는 가능성을 보여 주었다. 또한 뇌파 검사를 통해 뇌파 안정과 정서와의 상관성, 행동 변화와의 상관성을 제시하였다는 측면에서 의의가 있다. 향후 인문학, 사회과학, 자연과학 등의 학제간 융합을 통해 개발한 뇌교육프로그램이 향후 자폐아동 치료의 새로운 대안이 될 수 있을 것으로 기대할 수 있다.
The purpose of this study is to verify the effectiveness of brain education program applying brain science principles such as brain gymnastics, breathing, and meditation by suggesting alternatives from humanities and social sciences to autistic children who need special education. The brain education program developed through interdisciplinary convergence of humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences will be a new alternative for the treatment of autistic children in the future. This study was conducted 48 times of brain education class for one teen male with autistic disorder. After the program, we analyzed the changes of brain wave through the child s brain wave test and also confirmed the change of emotional behavior through the observation of the child. The results of this study show that brain education can be a new educational alternative for children who need special education as various methods and various education methods. In addition, there is a significant difference in the relationship between brain wave stability and emotions and behavioral change through brain wave test.
