외국의 유치원과 초등학교 1, 2학년 음악과 교육과정에서의 연계 특징 탐색 : 일본, 핀란드, 호주, 캐나다를 중심으로

The Characteristics of the Linkage between Kindergarten Curriculum and 1st and 2nd Grade Music Curriculum in the Foreign: With a focus on Japan, Finland, Australia, and Canada

본 연구의 목적은 외국의 유치원과 초등학교 1, 2학년 음악과 교육과정에 나타난 연계 특징을 탐색하고, 그 결과를 토대로 우리나라 즐거운 생활과 음악과 교육과정 개발에 대한 시사점을 제시하는 것이다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 일본, 핀란드, 호주, 캐나다 B. C. 주의 유치원과 음악과 교육과정을 분석하였다. 분석 결과를 토대로 다음과 같은 시사점을 제시하였다. 첫째, 유치원, 초등학교 3~4학년군 음악 교육과정과의 연계를 위해 즐거운 생활과 별개로 초등학교 1~2학년군에서 음악 교과가 독립적으로 편성되어야 한다. 둘째, 초등학교 1~2학년군에서 음악 교과가 편성되지 못할 경우에는 즐거운 생활에서 초등학교 3~4학년군과 연계할 수 있는 음악교육 내용이 구체적으로 제시되어야 한다. 셋째, 즐거운 생활과 초등학교 음악 교과의 교육 방향과 목표를 공유할 수 있도록 양자 간 역량의 연계 특성이 제시되어야 한다. 넷째, 유치원, 초등학교 1~2학년군, 3~4학년군 간 연계가 교육과정 설계 단계에서부터 이루어져야 한다.

The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze kindergarten curriculum and 1st and 2nd music curriculum in the foreign to suggest the implications for the revision of Korean pleasant life and music curriculum. In order to achieve this purpose, Japan, Finland, Australia, and Canada documents and literature related to curriculum were collected, reviewed, and analyzed. The findings and implications in this study are as follows: First, music subject should be independently organized in the 1st and 2nd grade in order to connect kindergarten curriculum and the music curriculum of the 3rd and 4th grade. Second, if music subject is not organized in 1st and 2nd grade, music education contents that can be linked to 3rd and 4th grade music subject should be presented in detail in a pleasant life. Third, the linkage characteristics of the competencies between pleasant life and music curriculum should be presented in order to share the direction and goals of music subject education. Fourth, the linkage between the kindergarten, pleasant life and elementary music curriculum should be considered from the curriculum design stage.
