지체 장애인의 정보화 수준이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향

Effects of Information Level on Life Satisfaction of People with Physical Disabilities: Focused on Mediating Effect of Social Capital

본 연구는 지체 장애인의 정보화 수준이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 살펴봄에 있어 사회적 자본의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국지능정보사회진흥원의 ‘2020년 디지털정보격차 실태조사’의 원자료를 이용하여 2차 자료 분석을 실시하였는데, 연구대상은 지체 장애인 1,402명을 포함하였다. PROCESS macro를 활용한 자료분석 결과, 정보화 수준은 지체 장애인의 삶의 만족도에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 사회적 자본은 지체 장애인의 정보화 수준과 삶의 만족도와의 관계에서 매개효과를 나타내었다. 이러한 연구결과에 기반하여, 본 연구는 지체 장애인의 삶의 만족도를 증진시키기 위해 이들의 정보화 수준과 사회적 자본을 향상시킬 수 있는 사회복지적 함의에 대해 논의하였다.

This study examined the mediating effect of social capital on the relationship between information level and life satisfaction of people with physical disabilities. Using ‘The Report on the Digital Divide 2020’ which was investigated by National Information Society Agency in Korea, this study conducted secondary data analysis and study sample consisted of 1,402 individuals with physical disabilities. Study results with PROCESS macro demonstrate that information level positively affected life satisfaction of people with physical disabilities, and social capital medicated the relationship between information level and life satisfaction of people with physical disabilities. Based upon these results, this study discussed social welfare implications for enhancing life satisfaction of people with physical disabilities by improving information level and social capital.
