Analysis of Factors Influencing the Outcomes of Industrial Safety and Health Education Programs for Management Supervisors in the Workplace

이 연구는 기업 관리감독자 산업안전 보건 교육프로그램의 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하고 각 요인들의 영향력을 분석하였다. 선행연구와 문헌 분석 및 고찰을 통하여 성과에 영향을 줄 수 있는 잠정요인들을 도출하고 기존 연구에서 신뢰도와 타당도가 검증된 도구를 기반으로 설문 문항을 재구성하였다. 연구는 ‘ㄷ’ 기관에서 실시하는 관리감독자 산업안전 보건교육을 이수한 서비스업종 관리감독자 113명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하고, 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 도출한 뒤 그 영향력을 분석하였다. 연구결과, 관리감독자 산업안전 보건 교육프로그램 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인은 학습동기, 자기효능감, 교육기관 특성, 조직환경이었다. 그 중 교육성과 요인인 교육만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 자기효능감과 교육기관 특성이 유의미한 영향력을 보였고, 지각 현업적용도에는 학습동기, 교육기관 특성, 조직환경 순으로 유의미한 영향력을 나타냈다. 즉 교육기관 특성은 관리감독자 산업안전 보건 교육프로그램 성과 전반에 영향을 미치는 요인이라 할 수 있다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 기업 관리감독자 산업안전 보건 교육프로그램의 후속 연구와 평가도구 개발에 대한 시사점을 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing the outcomes of industrial safety and health education programs for management supervisors and to analyze the impact of each factor. The study identified the factors that would potentially influence the outcomes through review of existing advanced studies and literature and redesigned the questionnaire based on the tools proven in terms of reliability and validity. The survey was conducted with 113 management supervisors from the service industry who have completed the industry safety and health education provided by “K” institution in South Korea. The results of the study are as follows: Learning motivation, self-efficacy, characteristics of educational institution and organizational environment were identified as factors that influence the outcomes of industrial safety and health education programs. Self-efficacy and characteristics of educational institution, among others, had a significant impact on educational satisfaction, and factors that had a significant impact on perceived learning transfer were learning motivation, characteristics of educational institution, and organizational environment in that order. In other words, characteristics of educational institution is the factor that has an overall impact on the outcomes of industrial safety and health education programs for management supervisors. Based on the results of this study, we suggested the needs to carry out follow-up studies on industrial safety and health education programs for management supervisors and to develop more specific evaluation tools.
