대학생의 사회부과완벽주의와 학업지연행동의 관계에서 부적응적 인지적 정서조절과 시간계획성향의 매개효과

The Mediating Effect of Maladaptive Cognitive Emotion Regulation and Time Plan Propensity on the Relationship between Socially Prescribed Perfectionism and on Academic Procrastination in University Students

본 연구는 사회부과완벽주의와 학업지연행동의 관계에서 부적응적 인지적 정서조절과 시간계획성향이 매개하는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구를 위해 광주, 전라남도, 전라북도 지역에 소재한 4년제 대학교 재학생 278명을 대상으로, 사회부과완벽주의 척도, 학업지연행동 척도, 부적응적 인지적 정서조절 척도, 시간계획성향 척도를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 분석을 위하여 R 프로그램을 사용하였으며 구조방정식 모형 검증을 위해 lavaan 패키지를 활용하였으며 부트스트래핑을 사용하여 매개효과의 유의성을 검증하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 사회부과완벽주의는 학업지연행동에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회부과적완벽주의와 학업지연행동의 관계에서 부적응적 인지적 정서조절이 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 사회부과적완벽주의와 학업지연행동의 관계에서 시간계획성향이 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 연구의 의의와 후속 연구에 대한 제언 및 시사점을 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation and time plan propensity were mediated the relationship between socially prescribed perfectionism and academic procrastination. For the study, 278 students in Gwangju, Jeollanam-do, and Jeollabuk-do were conducted on a socially prescribed perfectionism scale, an academic procrastination behavior scale, an maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation scale, and a time plan propensity scale. The collected data was analyzed by using R program for analysis, and the Lavaan package was used to verify the structure equation model and verify the significance of mediating effect using bootstrapping. The study results were as follows. First, socially prescribed perfectionism has been directly affected by academic procrastination. Second, in the relationship between Socially Prescribed Perfectionism and academic procrastination, maladaptive cognitive emotional regulation was completely mediated. Third, the time plan propensity was completely mediated in the relationship between Socially Prescribed Perfectionism and academic procrastination. Based on these results, the implications, the suggestions, and the limitations of the study were discussed.
