중학교 기술·가정 교과서의 ‘인간발달과 가족’ 단원 내용과 관련된 국가지속가능발전목표(K-SDGs) 분석

Analysis of Korean Sustainable Developmental Goals (K-SDGs) in the Context of ‘Human Development and Family’ Domain in Middle School Home Economics Textbooks

본 연구에서는 2018년도부터 사용되고 있는 기술·가정 교과서의 ‘인간발달과 가족’ 영역에 K-SDGs의 내용이 어떻 게 반영되어 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 기존 연구에서 2015 개정 가정과 교육과정과 관련있는 것으로 나타난 KSDGs에 근거하여 분석기준을 세우고, 학교 현장에서 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 5종의 가정 교과서의 ‘인간발달과 가족’ 영역의 내용을 내용단위로 분류한 뒤, 각각의 내용단위가 K-SDGs 세부목표와 관련 있는지 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 5종 교과서의 ‘인간발달과 가족’영역의 내용단위 수는 210~343개이며, K-SDGs 내용을 포함하고 있는 내용단위 수는 129~242개로 교과서별로 차이가 있었다. 또한 5종 교과서 ‘인간발달과 가족’영역의 단원별 내용단위들에 반영되어 있는 KSDGs의 세부목표를 살펴본 결과 단원별 차이가 있었다. ‘청소년의 발달’ 단원에서는 K-SDGs 3-2, ‘청소년의 성과 친구관계’ 단원에서는 5-1, ‘변화하는 가족과 건강 가정’및 ‘가족 관계와 의사소통’단원에서는 10-2가 가장 많이 반영되어 있었다. 이상의 결과는 교사의 역량에 따라 교과서 내용단위를 다양하게 활용하여 ‘인간발달과 가족’ 영역에서 K-SDGs 달성을 위한 실질적 교육이 가능함을 보여준다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the contents of ‘Human development and family’ domain in middle school Technology-Home Economics textbooks under the 2015 revision curriculum based on the targets of K-SDGs. The major findings were as follows. First, all contents of the ten textbooks of five publishers, such as texts, photographs/figures/tables, activity tasks, supplementary materials and evaluation were analyzed against 10 targets of K-SDGs 20. The number of ‘Human development and family’ contents among the ten textbooks of five publishers varied from 210 to 343, and especially the number of contents related to K-SDGs 20 targets varied from 129 to 242 by publishers. Second, there were differences in the focused K-SDGs targets depending on the units of ‘Human development and family’ domain. Each of units had core KSDGs, such as, K-SDGs 3-2 in the ‘characteristics of adolescents’ unit, K-SDGs 5-1 in the ‘sex and friendships of the youth’ unit, and K-SDGs 10-2 in the ‘changes in family and heathy family’ and ‘family relationship and communication’ unit. In conclusion, the contents of the ‘Human development and family’ domain were related to broad range of K-SDGs targets. These results showed that it is possible to achieve K-SDGs in the practical home economics education by making full use of various K-SDGs related textbook contents.
