초·중·고 국어과 교육에서의 외국 문학 교육 현황과 국제적 문학문화 소통 교육으로의 발전 방향

The Current Status of Foreign Literature Education in Elementary, Middle, and High School Language Education and Direction of Development into International Literature-Culture and Communication Education

이 연구는 국어과 교육과정에서의 외국(세계) 문학 교육 사적(史的) 양상과 국어과 교과서 내 외국 문학 교육 현황을 분석해 보고, 국제적 문학문화 소통 교육으로의 외국 문학 교육 방향을 제시한 것이다. 국어과 교육과정은 점차 외국 문학의 활용 범위를 확장시키고 있어, 국제적 소통 측면에서의 교육 여건은 마련되어 있다고 볼 수 있다. 그러나 막상 그것의 실현태인 국어과 교과서의 양상을 살펴보면 교육과정과 부조화를 이루는 지점들이 있었고, 국어과 교과서에 수록된 외국 문학 작품들의 갈래, 시대, 문화권, 제시 형태별 요소들이 한쪽으로 치우친 양상을 보였다. 따라서 외국 문학 교육 철학에 대한 시야를 국제적 무대로 확대하고, 학교 급별 및 학교 급 내에서 외국 문학 교육 내용의 단계화, 균형화, 다양화를 추구할 것을 발전 방향으로 제안하였다.

The study analyzed the historical aspects of foreign literature education in the Korean language curriculum and the current status of foreign literature education in Korean language textbooks, and presented the direction of foreign literature education into international literature-culture and communication education. As the Korean language curriculum is gradually expanding the scope of foreign literature, educational conditions in terms of international communication are in place. However, looking at the aspects of the Korean language textbook, which was realized in reality, there were parts where the Korean language textbooks, and curriculum were at odds, and elements of foreign literature contained in Korean language textbooks were biased. Therefore, it was proposed to expand the view of foreign literary education philosophy to the international stage and pursue hierarchization, balancing, and diversification of foreign literary education contents within the school level and school level.
