서울특별시교육청의 평생교육 차별화 및 재구조화 방안 연구

A Study on the Differentiation and Restructuring of Lifelong Education in the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education

이 연구의 목적은 서울특별시교육청의 평생교육 차별화와 재구조화를 위한 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 서울특별시교육청의 평생교육 현황을 고찰하였으며, 평생교육 분야 전문가 17인 대상의 심층 인터뷰와 학부모 320명 대상의 평생교육 프로그램 운영 및 교육요구도를 조사를 수행하였다. 서울특별시교육청의 평생교육 차별화와 재구조화를 위한 방안으로 ‘FUN 서울평생교육’ 모형을 제시하였다. ‘FUN 서울평생교육’의 차별화 및 재구조화 방안의 핵심은 서울특별시교육청 내 각 부서에서 운영 중인 다양한 평생교육 프로그램을 주제와 교육목적에 따라 재분류하여 ‘4대 특화학교(책 읽는 학교, 넘나들이 학교, 부모샘 학교, 어디서나 학교)’로 재구조화하고, 이를 통해 서울특별시교육청 평생교육을 단일화된 하나의 시스템으로 상호 지원하고 운영, 관리할 수 있도록 연계하는 것이다. 본 연구에서 제시한 ‘FUN 서울평생교육’ 모형은 서울특별시교육청만의 평생교육 시스템을 구축하는데 일조할 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to suggest a plan for the differentiation and restructuring of lifelong education in the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education. To this end, this study reviewed the status of lifelong education by the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, conducted in-depth interviews with 17 experts in the field of lifelong education, and conducted surveys on the operation and educational needs of lifelong education programs for 320 parents. This study presented the ‘FUN Seoul Lifelong Education model as a way to differentiate and restructure lifelong education of Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education. The key to the differentiation and restructuring of ‘FUN Seoul Lifelong Education’ is to reclassify various lifelong education programs operated by each department in the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education according to the theme and educational purpose and restructure them into four specialized schools (school for reading books, school over the fence, parents teacher schools, schools everywhere) and link them so that they can mutually support, operate and manage lifelong education in the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education as a single system. The ‘FUN Seoul Lifelong Education model presented in this study will help Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education establish its own lifelong education system.
