e 스포츠 유명 프로게이머의 속성이 구단과 채널의 이미지 및 충성도에 미치는 영향

A Study on the Influence of e-Sports Star Professional Gamer Characteristics on Team and Channel Image and Loyalty : Focus on para-social interaction.

본 연구는 e 스포츠 유명 프로게이머 속성이 준사회적 상호작용에 미치는 영향과 이러한 준사회적 상호작용이 구단 및 채널 이미지와 충성도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보는데 연구 목적이 있다. 연구 결과, 유명 프로게이머의 속성 중 ‘매력성’과 ‘친숙성’은 준사회적 상호작용에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 e 스포츠 유명 프로게이머의 ‘신뢰성’과 ‘전문성’은 유의미하지 않거나 심지어 부(-)적 영향이 나타났다. 신뢰성의 경우 유의하지 않았으며 전문성은 오히려 높을수록 준사회적 상호작용의 효과에는 부정적인 것으로 나타난 것이다. 다음으로 e 스포츠 유명 프로게이머와 형성된 준사회적상호작용은 구단 및 채널의 이미지 및 충성도에 모두 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이 같은 연구 결과는 e 스포츠 유명 프로게이머가 앞으로 이용자들과의 상호작용 차원에서 갖추어야 할 요건이 무엇인지 알 수 있으며, 나아가 게임 구단 및 채널의 이미지, 충성도 효과 측면에서 이용자들과의 중요한 연결고리가 될 수 있다는 것을 시사하고 있다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of e-sports star pro-gamer attributes on para-social interactions and how these para-social interactions affect team and channel images and loyalty. This Studies have shown that ‘attractive’ and ‘familiarity’ among the attributes of famous professional gamers have a positive effect on para-social interactions. However, the ‘reliability of e-sports star gamers was not important and the higher the‘professionalism’, the greater the negative effects of para-social interaction. Next, para-social interactions with star professional gamers of e-sports have a positive impact on the image and loyalty of the team and channel. The results of this study demonstrate what requirements should be met in the future in that famous professional gamers of e-sports must interact with users. It also suggests that images and loyalty of teams and channels can serve as important connections with users in terms of effectiveness.
