중학생의 또래관계가 자아정체감에 미치는 효과

The Mediation Effects of Peer Relations Between Parenting Attitude and Ego-identity

본 연구는 부모의 양육태도와 자아정체감 간의 관계에서 또래관계의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 수행되었다. 본 연구에서는 G시에 소재한 2개 중학교 1, 2학년에 재학중인 남·녀 청소년 383명을 대상으로 부모의 양육태도 검사, 자아정체감 검사, 또래관계 검사를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서는 AMOS 18.0을 활요하여 부모의 양육태도와 자아정체감의 관계에서 또래관계의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 본 연구결과를 요약하면 첫째, 부와 모의 양육태도를 예언변수로, 자아정체감을 결과변수로, 또래관계를 매개효과로 설정한 부분매개모형이 완전매개모형보다 좋은 적합도를 보였다. 둘째, 중학생들이 부모의 양육태도를 긍정적으로 자각할수록 자아정체감 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 중학생들이 부모의 양육태도를 긍적적으로 지각할수록 또래관계도 긍정적으로 나타난다. 넷째, 긍정적인 또래관계를 형성할수록 자아정체감 수준이 높았다. 다섯째, 부모의 양육태도와 자아정체감의 관계에서 긍정적인 또래관계가 유의한 매개효과를 보였다. 이 연구의 결과는 부모의 양육태도에 대해 청소년이 지각하고 있는 수준이 또래관계에 영향을 주고, 또래관계는 다시 자아정체감에 영향을 미친다는 것을 지지하였다. 이것은 부모의 양육태도 수준을 긍정적으로 지각하고 있는 청소년이 긍정적인 또래관계를 형성할수록 자아정체감 수준이 높음을 의미한다.

The purpose of this study was to test mediation effects of peer relations between parenting attitude and ego-identity. The subjects of this study was 383 students of first and second year students attending two meddle schools located in G-city. Parenting attitude test, peer relations test, and ego-identity test were administered. Descriptive statistics and correlation analysis were conducted with AMOS 18.0 Statistical program and the mediating effects were tested through structural equation modeling. To sum up, first, the mediation effects or the partial mediation models with parenting attitudes as predictor, peer relations or as mediator, and ego-identity as outcome variable, variable, were found to fit the data better ego-identity. Third, the more positive parenting attitude, the better peer relations. Fourth, the more positive ego-identity, the more positive peer relations. Fifth, the mediating effects between parenting attitude and ego-identity were significants. The results of this study suggests that adolescents who perceive parenting attitude positively have more positive peer relations and better ego-identity.
