Analytical studies on the saponins in Panax Ginseng are carried out to establish a guide line for the quality control of Ginseng Products. Retention time of Ginsenosides in HPLC was determined as well as the relative amounts by RI detector utilizing this pure Re Component as a Standard and the results can be used as a guide line for the quantitative and pattern analysis of Saponins in panax Ginseng.
