The following results have been obtained. (1) The yield of total polymer increases of concentration of monomer and temperature of polymerisation, but it is independent of the concentration of curpric element. (2) When the graft polymerisation was processed onto acryle fibers,the rate of graftying is considerably higher is considerably higher in the presence of a trace of copper salt in the solution. The rate goes up to its maximum when the concentration of Cu++ is approximately 10-2 mol/ℓ, but the rate goes down when the concentration of Cu++ is higher than 10-2 mol/ℓ. (3) Graf tying efficiency is low, showing 26.58% at its highest point. It has been observed that the lowering rate of graftying efficiency is in proportion to the increase of concentration of monomer. (4) The formation of homopolymer is best between 70°C and 85°C.
