시각장애인의 주관적 건강상태가 생활만족도에 미치는 영향

Effect of Subjective Health Status on Life Satisfaction among Visually Impaired People: Focused on the Mediating Effect of Stress and Depression about Disaster

연구목적: 본 연구는 시각장애인의 주관적 건강수준이 생활만족도에 미치는 직접적 영향력과 함께 재난적 스트레스와 재난적 우울감을 매개로 하여 미치는 간접적 영향력을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구방법: 본 연구는 시각장애인 263명(남자 154명, 여자 109명)을 대상으로 하였으며, 2021년 6월에 서울 및 경기도 지역의 활동지원서비스를 제공하는 복지관 및 활동지원서비스 수행기관을 통해 모집되었다. 연구결과: 첫째, 시각장애인의 주관적 건강상태는 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나, 시각장애인이 본인의 건강이 좋다고 인식할수록 생활에 대한 만족도는 높았다. 둘째, 시각장애인의 주관적 건강상태와 생활만족도 간 관계에서 재난적 스트레스와 재난적 우울감은 각각 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타나, 시각장애인이 건강하다고 인식할수록 재난적 스트레스와 재난적 우울감이 낮아서 생활만족도가 높았다. 결론: 본 연구는 시각장애인의 생활 만족을 높이는데 신체적 건강과 정신적 건강이 모두 중요하다는 사실 뿐만 아니라, 그 구조적 관계를 밝힘으로서 시각장애인의 삶의 질을 높일 수 있는 방향을 제시하였다는 의의를 갖는다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the direct influence of the subjective health level of the visually impaired on life satisfaction and the indirect influence of stress and depression about disaster as a mediating role. Method: This study was conducted with 263 blind people (154 males, 109 females), who were recruited in June 2021 through welfare centers in the Seoul and Gyeonggi-do area. Results: First, the subjective health status of the visually impaired had an effect on life satisfaction. Second, in the relationship between the subjective health status and life satisfaction of the visually impaired, stress about disaster and depression about disaster each play a mediating role. Conclusion: This study has the significance of presenting both physical and mental health as a mechanism to improve the quality of life of the visually impaired.
