청소년 인성교육 강사 경험에 관한 질적 연구

A Qualitative Research of the Experience of the Trainer on the Character Education Program for Adolescents: Focused on the ‘SimSimPuli M3 (Meta-Mind Meditation)’

본 연구는 마음공부를 기반으로 한 청소년 인성교육 프로그램 ‘심심풀이 M3(Meta Mind Meditation)’을 수행한 강사의 경험에 대한 질적 연구이다. 인성교육 프로그램의 효과와 의미는 개발 목적과 지향하는 바와 더불어 그 프로그램을 실제로 수행한 당사자의 경험 또한 중요하다. 선행연구에서 프로그램을 진행하는 강사의 역량과 역할에 관한 중요성과 질적인 교육의 필요성이 반복적으로 강조되었던 만큼 프로그램을 수행하는 강사의 체험을 직접 들어보고, 그들 내부의 이야기가 청소년과 어떻게 연결되고 있는지 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 연구 참여자를 목적표집하여 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 청소년 인성교육 강사가 인성교육을 수행하면서 경험한 청소년과의 만남과 인성교육을 주제로 심층인터뷰를 통해 질적 자료를 수집하고 이를 분석하였다. 자료를 범주화한 결과, 4개의 주제와 11개의 범주 및 29개의 하위범주로 나타났으며 이는 연구 결과를 통해 제시하고 그 의미를 해석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 청소년 인성교육 강사와 인성교육을 위한 지도자 양성 및 지도자 역량 강화 교육에 필요한 자료를 제공한다. 또한 종교계 인성교육과 관련하여 질적 연구를 시도함으로써, 종교인으로서의 인성교육 경험의 의미를 밝혔다는데 의의가 있다. 본 연구가 인성교육 프로그램과 이를 수행하는 강사에 관한 경험적 자료를 제공하여 추후 청소년을 위한 인성교육의 지속적인 확산에 기여하기를 기대한다.

In this study, This study is a qualitative study on the experience of the instructor who performed ‘SimSim-Puri M3(Meta-Mind Meditation)’, a youth character education program based on mind practice. The effectiveness and meaning of the character education program is not only important for the purpose and purpose of development, but also the experience of the parties who actually performed the program. As the importance of the quality and role of instructors in the program and the need for qualitative education have been repeatedly emphasized in the previous research, we have listened directly to the experience of the instructors in the program and how the stories inside them are connected with the youth. For this purpose, the participants of the study were collected and the focused group interview was conducted. Qualitative data were collected and analyzed through in-depth interviews on the subjects of youth and character education. As a result of categorizing the data, 4 themes, 11 categories, and 29 subcategories were presented, and the results were presented and interpreted. The results of this study provide the materials necessary for the training of youth character education instructors and leaders, and for the development of leadership capacity for character education. In addition, it is meaningful that they attempted qualitative research on religious character education to reveal the meaning of character education as a religious person. It is hoped that this study contributes to the continuous spread of character education for youth by providing empirical data on character education programs and instructors who perform them.
