Christian Education for the Restoration of Faith Community and Spirituality: with a Focus on Youth Education

본 논문은 한국사회 및 청소년의 현실을 비판적 관점에서 고찰함으로써 현재의 해체주의적 파편화와 분절화의 심각성을 일깨우고자 한다. 이러한 심각한 상황에 대한 수정 및 대안적 가능성을 신앙공동체의 회복 및 영적 회복을 통해 하게 될 것이다. 특히 청소년들을 위한 교육을 중심으로 살펴봄으로써 현재 문제의 진단과 함께 미래적 가능성을 조망하게 될 것이다. 본 연구는 다음과 같은 논리적 단계를 수행함으로써 연구의 목적을 달성한다. 첫째, 청소년을 위한 신앙공동체의 필요성과 중요성을 고찰한다. 둘째, 영적 회복을 위한 원동력으로서 기도와 회개의 중요성을 평양대부흥운동의 역동적 원리 속에서 살펴본다. 셋째, 청소년의 영적 회복을 위한 코이노니아의 역동성을 고찰한다. 넷째, 대그룹 예배와 소그룹 묵상을 통한 영적 부흥의 가능성을 모색한다. 다섯째, 청소년을 위한 멘토링과 훈련 소그룹의 가능성을 제시한다. 여섯째, 청소년 봉사를 실천할 수 있는 선교의 장을 개발하며, 청소년을 위한 관심 및 나눔 공동체의 확산을 통해 상호 협력과 영적 도전을 가능케 한다. 마지막으로 현 세대와 다음세대가 서로의 경험과 지혜를 나누고 상호 협력함으로써 신앙공동체 및 영적 회복이 가능하게 되고, 이를 통해 당면한 위기를 극복할 수 있는 대안을 찾을 수 있음을 제시함으로써 연구를 마무리 하게 될 것이다.

This study pays attention to the severity of fragmentation and disintegration in which Korean society as well as youths are situated. As an effort to find an alternative or at least a corrective to this situation this study inquires about the restoration of faith community and spiritual vitality. This inquiry lays an emphasis on youths and Christian education for youths so that it may provide more potential for the future of Korea and Korean churches since youths are the representative next generation. In order to accomplish the objectives of this study, it will proceed its investigation according to the following steps. First, it will investigate the necessity and importance of faith community. Second, it will inquire the importance of prayer and repentance for the spiritual restoration. This will be based upon the dynamic principle operant in Pyongyang Great Awakening Movement. Third, the dynamism of koinonia will be explored for the spiritual restoration of youths. Fourth, ways toward spiritual empowering of youths will be suggested based upon large scale worship and small group biblical meditation. Fifth, providing of mentoring and training group experiences for youths will be included. Sixth, mission fields and sharing communities for youths will be discussed and developed. At the same time proliferation of caring as well as sharing communities for youths will be suggested for the reciprocal cooperation and challenge among youths. Lastly, a crucial alternative to the drawbacks of the status quo will be provided based upon experiences and wisdom proper through sharing and mutual cooperation between current generation and next generation.
