<삼국유사> 설화의 놀이를 활용한 유아 불성 발현 프로그램 개발 및 적용

Development and Application of the Program for Children’s Nature of Buddha Manifestation through Play in <Samguk Yusa> Narrative

본 연구는 <삼국유사>설화 속 놀이를 활용한 불성 발현 프로그램을 개발하고, 이를 만 4세 유아에게 적용해 유아의 자아인식 및 배려행동을 증진하는데 미치는 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 불성 및 삼국유사, 놀이에 관련된 선행연구 및 문헌고찰 분석을 토대로 <삼국유사> 설화 속 놀이를 활용한 불성 발현 프로그램의 목적을 설정하였다. 이후 불성의 요소 중 참 나(我를) 찾는 자아 인식, ‘자비심이 바탕이 된 타인 배려’를 선정하였고, 이를 발현할 수 있는 <삼국유사> 속 놀이를 선정하여 내용을 구성하고 전문가 협의를 거쳐 최종적으로 프로그램을 개발하였다. 프로그램의 적용 효과 검증을 위하여 대전시의 E 유치원 만4세 26명을 연구 대상으로 하여 8주간 8차시의 프로그램을 실시하였으며, 독립표본 t검정 및 대응표본t검정을 실시하여 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 <삼국유사> 속 설화를 활용한 불성 발현 프로그램이 만 4세 유아의 자아 인식과 타인배려에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 <삼국유사> 속 설화를 활용한 불성 발현 프로그램이 유아의 불성을 발현시키기 위한 유아교육 프로그램으로 현장에 적용이 가능함을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study is to develop the program for the nature of Buddha manifestation that utilizes the play in <Samguk Yusa> Narrative, to apply it to full 4 year children and to verify its effect on the enhancement of children’s self awareness and considerate behavior. For this goal, we set the objective of the program for the nature of Buddha manifestation that utilizes the play in <Samguk Yusa> Narrative based on the precedent studies related to the nature of Buddha, <Samguk Yusa> and play, and literature review. Afterward, among the elements of Buddha-nature, we designated the self-awareness seeking true myself and mercy based caring other’, and also designated the play in <Samguk Yusa> that can manifest these natures, formed the contents and finally developed the program after going through the consultation with experts. In order to verify the effect of program application, we targeted 26 full 4 year old children in E kindergarten in Daejeon, conducted the program that consists of 8 surveys for 8 weeks, analyzed the data through Independent sample t-test and corresponding sample t-test. It was found that the program for the nature of Buddha manifestation that utilizes the play in <Samguk Yusa> Narrative had the significant effect on the self-awareness and caring others of full 4 year children.
