Purpose: This study sought to investigate the reality and essence of nursing students experience of participating in a multicultural curriculum. Methods: The research methodology involved the collection of data through face-to-face interviews with 10 students from S University in the J region who had completed the multicultural curriculum, and a qualitative study was conducted through topic-oriented content analysis. Results: As a result of the analysis, indifference to multiculturalism , exclusive attitude due to prejudice and prejudice , recognition of a lack of culture-related knowledge , recognition of the necessity of multicultural education , positive change of perception , and communities coexisting together were the six themes derived. Conclusion: These results can provide the basic data for the development of a multicultural curriculum and educational content for nursing students.
