생명윤리와 통일교의 종교교육

Research ethics on life and religious education of unification church

통일교의 생명윤리를 살펴보기 위해서 통일교에서 말하는 생명에 대한 관점을 육신과 영인체의 생명, 생명의 탄생과 사랑, 생명과 영인체의 관계를 살펴보았다. 통일교 생명관의 특징은 정자와 난자의 결합에 의하여 육체와 육심으로 된 육신의 생명이 시작되고 뱃속에서의 태아가 태어나 숨을 쉴 때 비로소 생심과 영체로 된 영인체의 생명이 시작된다는 것과 인간은 3단계의 생을 살기 때문에 모태 안에서의 태교가 중요하고, 육신 쓴 지상생활이 중요하다. 그러나 참사랑은 생명보다 중요하다면서 가정적 사위기대를 중심한 윤리관을 가지고 있다. 생명과학의 연구윤리는 자유의지에 의한 자유행동으로 연구하되 창조원리 내에서 진행하고, 책임을 지는 윤리, 인간과 인류를 위한실적을 얻는 윤리를 가지고 이루어져야 한다. 가정적 사위기대를 이루는데 도움이 되는 인공수정은 찬성, 대리모, 정자기증, 난자기증은 반대, 임신중절과 영아살해 반대, 소극적 안락사는 존엄사로 찬성, 뇌사와 장기기증은 찬성한다. 보편적인 원리로서 생명윤리는 황금율에 따른 생명존중을 제시한다. 종교교육의 방향은 생명윤리교육의 영역과 범주에 대하여 범종교적인 차원에서 생명윤리를 정 할 수 있는 가칭 “범종교 생명윤리교육 연구위원회”를 만들어야 한다. 각 종교가 보편적으로 실시할 수 있는 생명윤리를 합의와 조정으로 확정하고, 생명윤리를 지키기 위해서 전교인과 국민들이 함께할 수 있도록 봉사, 교육과 설득, 저항을 같이 해야 한다.

To examine bioethics of the Unification Church, the perspectives on life have been evaluated in terms of the life of the living and spirit mind, creation of life and love, as well as relationship between life and spirit mind. The unique characteristic of the Unification life view is that the union of sperms and eggs begin the bodily life made of physical body and the physical mind. It also highlights that the life of spirit mind begins after the baby is born to take the first breath. Humans live three stages of life, so prenatal education in the womb and earthly life in the physical body are important. However, True Love, more important than life itself, is based on the ethics of family four position foundation. Research ethics on life sciences should be based on free actions led by free will, but its responsibilities and results should be derived within the boundaries of the Divine Principle. While it accepts artificial insemination that helps create family four position foundation, surrogacy, sperm and egg donations, artificial abortion and infanticide are opposed. Passive euthanasia, brain death and organ donation are also accepted. Universally, our bioethics propose respect for life based on the golden rule. To direct religious teachings in the right manner, the tentatively-titled “Cross-religious Bioethics Education Research Committee” should be established to define the boundaries of bioethics and teach, persuade and stand up for such beliefs together across all religions.
